Really brought another level to the reception especially as the sun started to go down, created an amazing atmosphere.
Uplighting will completely change the look of your event space. It doesn't matter if your wedding or corporate event is in a ballroom or outdoors in one of our low country settings, or anywhere else, uplighting will change the feel of whatever space you are using. At JLK Events, our lighting techs, through technology and training can color match to perfection any theme and any style.
Cafe lighting, also known as string lighting or bistro lighting, can be used indoors or outdoors to provide a gorgeous look with functional lighting. Even if your event is in the middle of an open field, JLK Events can string lights using our custom-designed poles. You will love the look that cafe lighting will provide for your event space!

As a wedding planner, the ultimate success at the end of each event is to have happy clients and happy guests. Jen & Tim with JLK Events brought immense happiness and stellar satisfaction to the clients and wedding guests in a recent wedding we worked together. Working with Jen & Tim was easy. They were always quick to respond, professional, brought new ideas to the table, punctual and got on ZOOM calls when we had a few questions. We had an outdoor ceremony and I can confidently say their high end equipment was crystal clear in sound and volume. The clients could not of been happier at the end

Gary Lucca was our DJ and he was absolutely wonderful to work with! We originally booked with him in March 2019 for our April 2020 wedding. In March 2020, we knew we had to postpone due to the global pandemic. Gary was flexible and able to reschedule to our new wedding date in April 2021. He maintained consistent communication with us throughout the entire process. This was a destination wedding for us and it was great to be able to meet him in person twice before our wedding.

Hands down the BEST! We planned our destination wedding at The Dunes House in Palmetto Dunes, HHI from Erie PA. Everything from start to finish was perfect on our wedding day.
The planning was easy and smooth with DJ Tim. Everything went smooth and he kept everyone on the floor dancing all night long

The JLK Events team arrived the day before our wedding to set up our lighting and arrived the day after to take it down. I never even saw them. It was seamless! The cafe/bistro lights were one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding. I got more than I paid for as we had the incredible lighting for an extra day. I’d recommend JLK any day!

There are many good reasons why JLK Events is at the top of the event and DJ industries in Bluffton / Hilton Head, but mostly because they CARE a great deal about their clients and their staff. JLK Events was the perfect choice for us! We selected DJ Tim as our DJ and also used them for cafe lighting and displaying a photo slideshow during the reception. Tim was phenomenal to work with, meeting both via Zoom and in person prior to the wedding and working with us to make certain we had exactly what we wanted in place. The ceremony and reception was fantastic with Tim at the helm and he kept everyone engaged. He even surprised us with special touches throughout the evening. I highly recommend not only JLK Events for their professionalism but Tim in particular as the DJ talent you select

JLK Events was one of our smartest hires for our wedding. Their entire team is extremely professional and highly responsive to any emails, calls, questions, etc. Their lighting and tech set up was seamless and beautiful. I’m so happy I chose JLK events to be apart of our wedding day! Henry was our DJ, and man did he blew our expectations out of the water! We didn’t have a wedding planner, so he really helped us build our timeline for our ceremony and reception. He was extremely organized and we could tell he had a lot of experience. Between him and one of the owners, Liz, they were always great at getting back to me whenever I had a question. I would highly recommend them for any event!
