Services
ArcheWild is committed to growth in every sense of the word. We work to grow genetic diversity, grow the best native plants on the market, grow understanding and appreciation for restoration and conservation, and grow a resilient future as a community. ArcheWild, currently the leading ecological restoration company on the East Coast, will grow its customer and partner base to build an informed, environmentally-conscious community.
ArcheWild started in 2010 as a nursery providing native plants to landscapers and restoration projects. ArcheWild Native Nursery was one of the first native nurseries of its kind, offering large-scale ordering to restoration clients with ecoregion-specific and seed-grown plants. After a decade of saying yes to its customers, ArcheWild Native Nursery grew into ArcheWild: the full-service ecological restoration firm it is today.
ArcheWild is a rapidly growing professional ecological restoration firm with clients in PA, NJ, MD, OH, NY, DE, WV. We participate in the design and implementation of stream/river, forest, meadow, and wetland restoration plus the reimagining of large privately-owned farms. ArcheWild also operates ArcheWild Native Nurseries, the 2nd largest private genotyped native plant nursery on the East Coast.
ArcheWild Native Nurseries is one of the largest "exclusively native" plant growers in the Northeast. We are also the only nursery to stock EPA Ecoregion Level IV specific genetic strains of popular and hard-to-find native plants. We carry multiple genetic strains of common restoration plants (for example, we have more than a dozen strains of Schizachyrium scoparium, little bluestem).
Sustainably wild-crafted native seeds in our collection can be grown for custom orders. If you need a native species or specific genotype that is not included in our list, let us know. We are constantly expanding our selection. ArcheWild is committed to providing fully documented and accessioned Open-Pollinated, Local-Ecotype (OPLE) native plant species - that means no cultivars, no asexual propagation, no bottlenecked genes.

Being a native plant enthusiast myself, I was thrilled to find a native plant nursery with a very knowledgeable owner who specializes in growing natives from seed that originated from various local ecotypes.
It is quite a trek for me, but I usually make it down there at least twice a year. I'm really looking forward to my visit this spring--I've already been perusing the site and picking out a large variety of species that I plan to add this year en masse.
