Born & raised in Jackson, MS and relocated to Florence in 2003. My wife, Judy and I are both retired and stay active in our community and attend First Baptist Church in Florence where we sing in choir. When I was a teen my dad told me, "If The Women Don't Find You Handsome - Maybe They Will Find You Handy".
I've been fixing things ever since. During the past 40 years I have worked in the wholesale windows & doors business as well as retail building supplies including kitchen cabinets & counter tops. After retiring from a career in Information Technology Management, I felt a strong desire to work with my hands, instead of sitting behind a desk or taking naps in my recliner.
I realized there is a need for someone like myself who is skilled at a wide range of repairs, typically around the home. These tasks include trade skills, repair work, maintenance work, both interior and exterior, and are sometimes described as "side work", "odd jobs" or "fix-up tasks". I love working with tools and helping people.
