I used pronto plumbers about 20 years ago, and they were honest and courteous then, so today when I had huge problem with the main line and water everywhere inside my house, I tried them first. The call wasn’t guaranteed because they had a busy morning and close at 2:00, so I added my name to the queue but shopped around. In case the couldn’t come. I called a few places. One guy was grumpy on the phone and at another place the receptionist never returned my call when I asked for an hourly price. I got worried with all of the bad reviews at those places and decided to hope they could fit me

Hired them to install a dishwasher. Took more than 3 hours to do a 1 hour job and then charged over $400 dollars. I questioned the cost as being out of line for the service. Their response was we get $115 per hour and if it takes over 3 hours too bad. Lowered the charge to $370. I paid just to get them out of my house. I would never call them or recommend them. It seems their business model is to take as long as possible to do the work to charge as much as possible no matter the true value of the service. Plumbers standards rate dishwasher replacement as 1 hour job - 2 at the most. These guys
