We had Joe and crew out to remove a pile of dirt and refuse, then build a retaining wall. The space was close to the house and awkward. They quickly and expertly removed the pile, and built a nice retaining wall. I would gladly have them back for future work, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a project in their scope.

We had a somewhat difficult project involving a retaining wall and steep hill in our backyard. Our goal was to have an improvement. They far exceeded our expectations, and created an exceptionally beautiful hillside, with a stone retaining wall, and steps. I didn't think it could be done, but they managed to make any ugly backyard into something beautiful. I was impressed with Joe's strait forward and honest quote, and ability to keep the project within budget and on time. Every step of the process was well communicated. I would be happy call them again for my next project.

Removed a smaller patio area and replaced it with a larger area. The results are fantastic. We now have a much larger, stamped concrete patio with a dark gray border and it is beautiful. Joe was so busy that we had to wait a year for him to start, but the results were worth it. We highly recommend this company.

I was a property adjuster and contstruction estimator for 20 years. I have been very happy with OCL. Anthony (owner) has done two jobs for us. The second was out of our budget, but Anthony worked with us to get the important stuff we want done at the price that was in our budget.
The second was also a difficult 4 part pour. The general contractor that rebuilt our patio (Anderson Construction which is also excellent) commented on what a good job my concrete guy did.
Anthony truly cares about his client and work product. As a bonus, I never had a problem contacting them, getting a quote from them

From the first conversation with Joe I was sure I was dealing with the right company. The initial phone conversation about my plans to build a concrete patio was relaxed and in depth. Our parents (Ramon and Bertha Valdes) had some concrete work done recently and they asked us to post a review for them.
"The work was performed as I needed to be done with no disturbance to the adjacent neighbors and on time. They cleaned the area once the concrete forms were done and right after the concrete was poured. After referencing a handful of companies we found ourselves eager to get started with OCD. Anthony was very responsive and met every single need at a reasonable price point.
I can tell you now, the companies in this area I've reached out to are challenged with unique concrete pours as OCD specializes in this. We will be asking for additional work from them and aim to post more beautiful photos from our tiny lot!

Hopefully you get the idea that these are before and after shots of what Olympia Concrete Design did for us. Of the different contractors I spoke with, Anthony seemed to have the best grasp of what we wanted. The final execution is not exactly how we originally envisioned it, but close enough. How could is the workmanship, only time will tell. I was concerned about the lack of detail in the cleanup. Loose rocks scattered around the yard and along the walkway. The one that really got me was finding a chunk of concrete buried in a planting bed. I was not able to be around to hover over the workers

Anthony spent time with us, working hard to understand exactly what needed - and then made sure that the job was done right. He was great to work with. OCD was on time, professional, and did a great job for us. We'll definitely call OCD next time we need concrete work.
