In 2007, Anchor Homes began offering custom homes to the community of Cumberland, MD and beyond. Our team has over 30 years of commercial and residential construction and engineering design experience and has worked with national architectural and engineering firms. Over the years, Anchor Homes has established a system of value-engineered plans that are customizable to each client's wants and needs.
Due to high customer demand, we are now offering quick-start homes in addition to our "design from scratch." The professionals at Anchor Homes have been in the commercial and residential home building business for over 30 years and because of this, understand the intricacies, costs, and complications that often arise when building a home.

We could not be happier with our experience with Steve and Anchor Homes. We broke ground April 2021 with the uncertainty of supply issues due to the pandemic, but Steve and his team have done an excellent job dealing with obstacles and staying on schedule. The quality of our home is fantastic, you can tell that they do not cut corners. We absolutely recommend Anchor Homes to anyone looking for a reliable contractor!

Went by to speak to them , had questions about building a new home . We went in the front door and we waited for someone to come out from the back room . We waited several minutes and finally left without seeing a face . There was no “ have a seat I’ll be out in a minute “ First impression was not good at all !
