Alex did his best to squeeze my job into his schedule when I was desperate after flooding. Although the scope of his work was not all he promised, I understood his limitations.
What I don't understand is his unprofessionalism in often not returning messages, and repeatedly promising "I'll call you right back," "I'll text or email that to you tomorrow" and then not doing so. He asked for all payment by check, even though the amounts were large. He promised - and never delivered - a receipt for my initial carpet deposit. Nor did he give me a written estimate or

After attempting to work with another local dealer I remembered Solano Hardwoods just up the street. Glen, Alex and Angel were great to work with and I am happy with my new floors. Fruitvale laminate.

Our story starts with Glen at the store. He was very helpful and works very hard to get you what you need to have your floors done,and done correctly. Next was with the owner Alex,he came in and gave us an estimate and answered all our questions,including what to do in our kitchen do to the fact we wanted the floor in the Entire downstairs including the kitchen. The problem we had was our cabinets are sitting on top of our tile . Other companies suggested that we put the flooring on top of the tile and put transition pieces in. Alex said NO you don't want to do that we can handle it no problem

We were referred to Solano Hardwoods by family who had their floors done with them. Solano Hardwoods replaced the tile/carpet on the first floor of our home with new luxury vinyl tile and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend them to anyone.

If you're looking for a way to make it feel like you're in a new house without having to buy a new house, replacing the floors is what you should do! Alex and his team replaced the floor throughout our home with Mannington laminate. Our house feels brand new! Alex was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about his craft. Whenever I had a question or concern he was always available to answer my questions and address my concerns. Our project was estimated to take 3 days but ended up taking 5 days due to some unexpected troubles in the kitchen. But Alex and his team handled it well and

Very happy with my experience with Solano Hardwoods! Was looking to update our home's floors from carpet and cheap laminate to Waterproofed faux wood flooring. What we ended up with was greater than my expectations for the budget we had. Our floors have real looking wood grain and details that regular laminate wood floors cannot offer. We had our flooring done with Solano hardwoods and they went above and beyond. The install guys were very professional. We are very happy with the results. We liked the quality that they offered with their flooring products as after I had done my research I realized we were really being offered the best options from the get go. Pricing was very reasonable but does warrant the quality which is very good.

We are preparing to move and need new carpet in our upstairs. Many companies are not working due to COVID, but Thank You to Alex and his team we have brand new carpet in time for our move. They are an essential service and they were able to get an entire upper level and stairs done including tear out in 2 days. It is a fantastic job at a reasonable price. We wish we would have used them for our other flooring jobs which were over priced and took too long to complete.

Solano Hardwoods provided installation of carpet we had at our non-profit warehouse. They showed up on time and completed the installation in just a few hours. I worked with Alex the owner. He provided excellent service and flexibility throughout the entire process. We'll definitely use them again.

It's so hard to find quality work, but Solano floors fits the bill. They did our downstairs over a year ago and it looks amazing. When our "untrained" yorkie caused it to buckle in a couple of places, Alex even said he would replace the buckled flooring for free. We're having an upstairs room done this week and we went back to Alex for the work because we know Alex and his company will do an excellent job! His installers are very professional and do a terrific job cleaning up the job when completed...

Love my new luxury vinyl plank flooring installed by Solano Hardwoods. When I visited the showroom, Glenn spent a lot of time answering my questions and helping me narrow down the type of flooring I should get to fit my lifestyle with 4 dogs. Alex came out to do the measurements and I was amazed that the amount ordered was perfect for the job, no shortage, no overage.

The sales team at Solano Hardwoods is awesome! We wanted to visit the store on a Saturday but got stuck in traffic. Glenn waited for us past their business hour. He listened and understood our need well and helped us pick a water proof product that we absolutely love.

I initially went to Solano Hardwoods to clean up a flooring job done by Lowe's. I was immediately greeted by Glen who was not only knowledgeable about the product but was also a genuinely nice person.

Solano Hardwoods did the install in a cost effective timely manner and maintained constant communication at all times. Alex (the owner) came out the next day for an estimate. Alex not only measured my floor, but also took the time to listen and get to know me to decide the best option.

I have nothing but great things to say about Alex and his crew. From the moment we met Alex we felt comfortable with him. We felt we didn't need another estimate. He may be a bit higher than other places from what I have read in these reviews, but we'll worth it. We were looking for quality work and boy did we get it. The workers Fabian and Luis were awesome. They worked so hard everyday and at the end of each day they cleaned up as to not leave a mess. Great people, honest , hard working and funny, what more can a person ask for.

We shopped for competitive estimates to put hardwood floors in our home. Alex was very professional and had very valuable ideas as the type of floor that would look good in our home. As nice as he was we felt we needed to shop around to make sure we got a competitive price. After having at least 5 businesses come to our home, we decided that the rapport and comfort with Alex could not be matched. Honestly he was not the cheapest but was close and competitive in price.
