Pingo's mission is to install solar panels on every roof within one decade. We were founded in 2013 by a group of engineers, an economist and trade professionals that wanted to prove the solar systems can be affordable and that the buying process can be enjoyable at the same time. Pingo started with the idea that democratizing solar was the single most effective way to combat climate change.
To do this, we set out to prove that we can build cost effective solar systems at an affordable price. To advance this goal, we innovated with custom hardware and software solutions pushing the boundaries of the industry. To do this, in 2019 we released a new customer-direct platform that allows customers to easily purchase solar systems online.

Get instant pricing online with unmatched economic value through our intuitive solar design tool. Pricing is transparent, the process is streamlined and installations come with a smile. Pingo works directly with global manufacturers to deliver you the best products at unbelievable prices. If you do not generate the electric power as stated in your solar installation agreement, Pingo will provide you a refund for the lost power.
The 82kW rooftop solar system was built for the Crestavilla Assisted Living Facility located in Laguna Niguel and was completed in 2019. The Riverwalk Pediatrics and Hina's Pharmacy solar system combines both a rooftop and carport system to help offset their energy needs. The carport also provides shade for patients as well as lighting at night.
We lean toward breaking the status quo way of doing things and seek team members that challenge themselves and make excellence a habit. If we reveal ourselves without worrying about how others will respond, then some will care, though others may not. But who can love you, if no one knows you? So we risk it and we hope you do too.
Depending on the electric vehicle you purchase, the additional electricity usage can vary. For example, the Tesla Model 3 averages about 250Wh/mile so for 12,000 miles, it will use about 3,000kWh/year or 250kWh/month. The Tesla Model S averages about 350Wh so for 12,000 miles, it will use about 4,200kWh/year or 350kWh/month.

This review is regarding a ground mount solar project estimate not roof top .I received an estimate from Pingo solar that was lower price than other estimates and for a much larger ground mounted solar system than that I received from a couple of other solar companies in my area. from Pingo’s representative Dmitry. The proposal was done using my latest Edison bill ,google Satelite photos of my home and all contact was by email and text. After questioning the lower price and larger system estimate I received from Pingo solar I was told by Dmitry he had re checked his calculations all was correct

We used Pingo Solar last year to install our solar panels after doing plenty of research on pricing and companies. Their price was not the most expensive nor the cheapest, but it was fair and we don't have any complaints about the panels themselves.
Now the reason for the lower rating... we wanted to run the solar through our partially finished attic, which they offer for an extra cost, which is totally fine. When the wiring through the attic was done and we went up to inspect it, they had not run the wiring along the wall, which I would have expected. Instead, they had decided to run this

Pingo Solar is a straightforward, knowledgeable, no-BS outfit. I wanted to upgrade my existing 2kW system to use smart inverters, and add more capacity to offset rising electrical costs. Scott helped me decide on the right smart inverter technology, and size my upgrade correctly; Hayden and Alex made sure the installation and certification process went as smoothly as possible (wow, SCE is a pain), and Eugene solved a minor post-installation glitch quickly. I nearly tripled my system's capacity for less than I paid for my original installation. Just a painless, low-friction experience end-to-end

Pingo is a great company. They are reliable, cost effective and have excellent customer service. My project required several postponements and they were able to accommodate my schedule changes with ease. Every time I called or had a question, I was given accurate and reliable information. I thoroughly trust this company and would highly recommend them for any solar project.

From our first interaction with Pingo until the system went live, there has not been one misstep. The team is on top of every part of the job, from system design to permitting to financing to HOA approvals. I could not have hoped for a smoother experience. Now, with 30 Hyundai panels brilliantly soaking up the sun's rays, we bid a (sort of) fond farewell to SDG&E. As an added bonus, we get to feel slightly superior to our carbon-emitting neighbors.

I got a solar system consisting of 20 LG panels and a SolarEdge Inverter through Pingo. They made the whole process painless and took care of everything including design, installation, main panel upgrade, permits, etc. Pingo was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. Their price was more competitive than other solar companies I quoted. I highly recommend Pingo Solar without reservation.

Pingo Solar is a hidden gem in the over commercialized solar installation marketplace, We did a thorough research before installing solar and received multiple quotes from large installers before deciding to go with Pingo Solar. The experience from start to finish was great with planning, approval, installation and communication.

I like to think I am an educated buyer and before making any big purchase I do my research. Before starting my journey into Solar, I looked into the technology, net metering, time of use and any other variables such as pricing and warranty I needed to think of before I started reaching out to vendors for competitive pricing. After getting multiple quotes, Pingo gave me the best deal. That was the start; I ended up following up and speaking with their sales rep Steve. After multiple calls to discuss questions I had about the tech they were using, the racks they used, their warranty and just

Saved over $1,500 in electricity bills in the first 6 months. SDGE currently owes me over $330 in Net Metering Energy credits. Pingo is an honest and hard working company. My system was installed in 1 1/2 days and experienced no problems through the whole process. Longest time was waiting for my HOA to approve my project. 100% recommend Pingo to all my friends and family.

I looked at all the major solar companies and found that Pingo was offering the same products with a much better deal for purchasing solar. When presented with Pingo's offer they all tried to come down but couldn't come close. Installation was seamless. 6 months later, no issues. Don't get robbed just because of a name brand solar company, do some homework and see for yourself.

Our solar panels installed by Pingo have now been working for almost 1 month. It's on track to producing more than the guaranteed output on my contract. I have a great experience with Scott Ahn and his team at Pingo; they were very professional, non-pressuring, and prompt. Everything would have been completed a week or two earlier if not for the the delay of my city inspector (not the fault of Pingo). What I like most is that they tell you upfront in their proposal what are provided in details...the services, equipment types, product and performance guarantees, fee and charges, etc.

My Pingo installation was completed February 27th ahead of my "aggressive" schedule by an outstanding Pingo Team!
My sales representative was very supportive the entire process and his knowledge of Solar was very impressive.
I started with over 6-7 different bids throughout the EnergySage process and quickly narrowed the field to just Pingo.
I can honestly say their price was SIGNIFICANTLY less then all the competitors. Being in Palm Desert I was a bit concerned with Pingo's location (Buena Park) but that proved to be not a problem a day or two into service when Pingos monitoring

What impresses me with a business is if they keep their commitments, accept responsibility for providing quality equipment and labor, and inform/engage me along the way. I expect going above & beyond. And PINGO did...it is a "High Reliability Organization."!! They know their business and how to manage their customers expectations while providing encouragement when other entities (such as the County or the power company) present unexpected slow downs. They have effective professional ways to communicate with these other players when necessary. They actually came to the County and had

There is a large group of More than 15 families and friends that decided to use Pingo Solar for installation of our Home Solar Systems. We got the best responses from Scott Ahn and David Yoo whenever we had any questions. My personal experience of using Pingo Solar has been overly satisfactory in terms of their pricing, responding to all questions, returning calls in a timely manner, quality of all the products used for the systems, their installation crew, their professionalism in dealing with special situations and I think most of the group felt the same way.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. This was not our first time putting solar on one of my homes. First time was a nightmare. This time was a pleasure from start to finish. 3 others told us it would not work us. Pingo gave us a guarantee it would and they were 110% correct. We could not be any happier. (I was an electrical contractor for 30 years) I know good work when I see it.

These guys at Pingo are the best. I can tell you that i shopped around a lot and sometimes cheapest is not always the best but in this case it was amazing how great their prices were and how professional they did everything. It can be very scary to let strangers into your house to make sure you that you picked the right people to do the proper work for you. I highly recommend Pingo they really know what they are doing.

I met Pingo at a home improvement show in San Diego and initially I had my reservations, but after talking with 5 companies and having all the companies come out to tell me that I can't install solar, Pingo was the only group technically competent enough to figure it all out for my home.
