These guys are terrible! They "fixed" a leak a few months ago, but the pool still leaks. Ok, these things happen. However, when you call them to get them to come out to fix it again, they just plain don't show up - over and over again.
So.... I did a little digging. Turns out their rating on here is completely bogus. One review giving them 5 stars was actually... (wait for it)... written by their own customer service department!! No kidding, check it our for yourself and be sure to click on the reviewer name...

We contracted with Hydrotech in May of last year. Customer service was great off the bat. No complaints about construction timeline. Communication was always great.
With that being said, Hydrotech didn’t not look at the storm water drainage they submitted to the county. After repeated questions to the project manager about when the drainage would be done, the pool was finished. The problem? It was never installed. We upgraded to shell stone pavers, which were expensive. Come to find out, the pavers would be required to be ripped up. Hydrotech denied any wrong doing even though they recommended

We just completed our pool project and it turned out fabulous. Never having a pool before, it was definitely a learning experience. They were great to work with from inception up to the final details of the completion.
Like all major projects, there are always going to be bumps in the road, the big difference with Hydrotech is that they were there to address the problems and concerns and did what it took to make things right.
Moose is a wealth of knowledge in his design and does not try to oversell you, he is always there to answer your questions and or solve the problem(s).

Hydrotech installed our Pool. Damien, the owner, was initially very helpful and responsive through the sales process. Once the contract was signed, I never heard from him again. I placed many calls and emails for his assistance when issues during construction came about and then post construction with issues. Never a response and I was passed around from person to person with no ownership on our project. (Two ladies in the office and the field tried t assist but had no support in the office). We had many issues and while this happens often with companies the true test is how a company responds

Our brand new pool and deck built by Hydrotech looks absolutely gorgeous. It legit looks like a resort over here. The construction definitely took longer than expected, but it really wasn’t their fault as I had to deal with my pain in the butt, non-responsive hoa and the county rejecting permits.
If it wasn’t for that, they’d be done with brand new construction in less than 2 months.
The superintendent for our project, Vince, was excellent. Very responsive and was straight to the point with my questions.
Honestly, the office could use some improvement with their response time. Sometimes

Hydrotech designed, installed and maintains our pool. It has been in place since 2106. After interviewing 6 pool vendors, we chose Hydrotech because their Designed listened to us and delivered all of the features we requested. Installation work was high quality. Most important, they do our regular service and provide excellent after sales service.

The most unprofessional, unresponsive company i have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Our pool is brand new and under warranty. Within months of the installation, black marks showed up on the bottom and sides of pool. For almost 2 YEARS now, we have not had our phone calls returned, a solution given, nothing. Our entire family has called, emailed etc and nothing. The owner, Damian, does not care at all about his customers or his company. He has repeatedly failed to call or follow through. If you are fine with spending thousands of dollars for nothing but problems, headaches, and

One super short notice I needed to replace tile on a client’s pool. Made an appointment to see tile and call my client overseas to gain approval. We had two weeks before tenants arrived at the property. The tile work commenced on time but when the pool was drained, several other issues were revealed. The entire pool surface needed to be re-pebbled and cracks repaired. With only 4 days to go and a holiday in between, the office arranged a team of 7 plus a supervisor to be on site and had the work completed and the pool filled the day before the tenants arrived. They sent a tech to restart the

I am writing this review because of extreme disappointment with pool installation contracting in SWFL. This is our second pool install in 5 years and we chose Hydrotech because we very much liked our initial salesperson and his designs and the fact that we had a bad experience with another local company.
We are giving 2 stars simply because we love the design of pool but the complaints are numerous.
1. Construction problems - We noticed during install of the coping, that the pool was not evenly installed. They ultimately repaired this but it did delay construction. We wanted a concrete lanai

After informing several people in management that my pool tech hardly ever showed up and when he does show up he wouldn't check chemicals, he just throws in some chemicals and leaves.(I have 2 cameras in pool cage by the way)I've asked many times to for them to vacuum to no avail. I had to buy vacuum on Amazon and do it myself.(pic below of debris.)
It took over 10 months for them to finally agree that I had a leak that was causing upward of 70,000 gallons per month. They kept blaming the auto fill even though I told them it was off. That would have made sense if my pool was always

By far the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. Hired Jaime Maroony to refinish our pool and it turned into months of excuses as to why he couldn't show up to do the job. After doing most of the preparation myself, because he wouldn't show up to do the job, he hired the worlds worst "tile guy" to install the expensive tile we purchased and it turned out extremely unlevel and generally unprofessional looking. He wasn't around to supervise at all either. Jamie said it was fine as its just aesthetics and only repaired a few spots. The tile is over

Disaster! While I was on vacation my pool developed a leak and the water level was down a foot when I returned home. It wasn't a disaster because of the care I received from Hydrotech Pools. From my first phone call, everyone was accommodating, knowledgeable, timely and professional. My problem was quickly resolved, I learned a lot about proper pool care, and, as a result, I have a new weekly pool service provider. I look forward to a long working relationship.

I had my pool heater fixed on 10.9.17 for $160. Cause was a temp sensor. Job was Done Rite (co. name).
A week later, the 17th, some lady called and told me a guy came by on the 11th and checked it out (without my knowledge). She (Pam) said he didn't open it up but ran a diagnostic (impossible)...then went on to tell me I gad a whole shopping list of problems that would basically require me to purchase a new unit.. Crooks.

Hydrotech resurfaced my solid concrete pool deck with travertine pavers. It came out great. They started and finished when promised and there were no surprises. The only issues were the clean up afterwards wasn't great and they broke a few tiles around the spa during the travertine install. It took over a month for them to match and replace the broken tiles. Not a huge problem as I withheld some of the final payment until it was completed. Overall it looks better than I expected. The price was lower than the average of the estimates I received. The workers were good.

What ever you do, make sure you stay away from Hydrotech Pools. We used this company to service 3 of our pools in Naples for less than a year and it was a compete horror show. The company is dishonest and the service is absolutely sub par. We had non-stop problems with all 3 pools due to their negligence and lack of proper care. They were contracted to service our pools once a week, and on many occasions they would just not show up. We would call and Pam in the office would literally fight and lie to us that they were there when they were not. If the technician showed up he would spend

I recently moved to naples and inherated Hydrotech as my pool company. The next three months went fine until we had issue . Instead of servicing the issue Hydrotech went into a full pitch to sell me a more expense replacement item instead of a minor rubber gasket repair, which I picked up at a pool distributor for 15.00. The last issue was the start of the decline in service and my TRUST. The next three months did not meet anyone standards, the service date was changed without any notification or contact, the monthly pricing plan was increase without proper notification or discussions to explain

If zero star was an option, that would be us. Rude, unresponsive, condescending, slow, expensive and end result was nothing like we wanted. 10 months later pool deck is totally overrun with weeds growing up from sand layer since no protective liner was laid first. The deck has been extremely slippery since it was finished (about 2 1/2 months late) last November. Deadly. Much of the grout is sloppy and just plain looks cheap. This was a $40,000 renovation and to this day I'd bet a dollar to a donut that if I called Damian he would NOT return the call, never does. If only I could start

Today Hydrotech Pools completed the refinishing of my pool deck, concrete apron to the garage and the entryway to our home. The results are amazing. We had the house built 30 years ago but this renovation has brought a new improved look to an older home. The workers of Hydrotech are true craftsmen in how they prepared the existing surfaces and shaped and colored the new concrete to realistically resemble natural flag stones. They were very patient in working with my wife Mary Ann to get the color and shading to her satisfaction. This company practices a business ethic that is missing in much of
