The goal we strive for when we design our furniture is to achieve a beautiful long lasting, heirloom quality piece of furniture at the most affordable price possible. The face frame serves the same function as closing the lid on a cardboard box. Without the face frame a case has no structural rigidity across the front of the piece and in time a piece becomes weak and wobbly.

Q: What do you use for a finish? A: Our furniture goes through several stages of sanding. Then several coats of a clear catalyzed lacquer are applied, hand rubbing with 00 steel wool between each coat. Finally a past wax is rubbed onto the surface. Q: How do we care for our furniture? A: Wipe with a damp cloth for cleaning.

Bought the Under Arch Square Spindle bed cherry, in a King from Vermont Martress & bed in Williston, who also installed it.
It's a Cherry wood king bed with 3 flimsy little 1x2 spindles supporting all the weight in the center. 1 screw through the 1x2 slats was supposed to support this for how many years? Had to build a simple box frame to slide underneath.
Also, nothing to keep the frame square. I'm worried we'll strip out a frame screw while rotating the mattress.
Wanted to pay a little more to support VT craftsmanship but it was seriousky lacking here.
Looks great, as a floor model. Not impressed
