I recently purchased a new home in Dayton, Ohio and found out after the purchase that the level (budget) billing for electric through Dayton Power and Light was $360.00 per month. OUCH!!! I immediately began looking for a solar company to see what options I had. Of the companies I researched, Jim Bustillo and Star City Solar, LLC provided the best… product for the money and installation was completed on time without any issues. Jim installed an 8.5 kW ground-mount solar array in our back yard. He was fantastic to work with. He was conscientious, hard-working, and willing to answer all our questions about the solar panels and electrical connections. While working on the array, Jim even became buddies with our somewhat-crazy dog.

Jim did an absolutely fantastic job with our system. What I like about Jim and Star City Solar is that they are local, reasonably priced, and trustworthy as a result. They are not a corporation that upcharges their customers just to pad the wallets of executives or funding their advertisements.
There are a lot of Solar Companies (We took a few… estimates!) that will try to sell you what you don't need (Battery backup) or try and swindle you for 15 year purchase plans! Additionally, they may not be aware of many of the local tax credits and incentives due to being based out of state. Jim
