We came to Eric with an idea for our office, and he was able to make our idea come to life. Not only was he professional, but very trustworthy and easy to work with. The cabinets and desk combo came out exactly as we had hoped, and we are already looking to hire him again to do the cabinets in our laundry room. General Cabinets recently custom built a sidebar cabinet and upper cabinet to match my existing kitchen cabinetry. They matched my cabinet color and type of doors perfectly!! The whole experience with every member of the General Cabinet team was wonderful. The CEO Don Josephik came to my house to help plan the perfect arrangement for my small breakfast nook. Don was professional, knowledgeable, and very precise in his measurements and drafts of the project. Janelle in the main office was very helpful to accommodate my schedule. Janelle was great throughout the entire process of selecting my cabinets and counters. They stayed open late to accomodate my work schedule, and she was always kind and helpful. I gathered quotes from many companies, and General Cabinets had the best pricing around which is what I needed for my tight budget!
The cabinets and counters look beautiful! The only issue I have it the backsplash was supposed to run all the way across, and there was a miscommunication with the installer so it does not. I emailed Janelle about this, but am still awaiting a response. Once this is fixed I will change to

We really wanted to keep our original cabinets as they were hard wood and in good shape but once we redesigned the space, we found that we needed additional cabinets and a weird L-shaped corner cabinet. This meant custom design of cabinets and then the ability to match the finish which wasn’t a standard finish.

I only give then one star because i have to, they do not deserve any stars. They will be quick to get you your proposal and the price will be great, but then once they have your money, they do nothing for you. They will install a poor quality product with scratches, dents and poor stain, and will give you the run around for getting everything replaced. On my third go around of cabinet doors with them and has been ongoing since Nov. I can't get answers, the owner is never available and the people in his office, while they do their best, can't get you answers either. Theere is zero communication
