I want to take the time to thank and recommend Custom Installation. They were very responsive and worked around the schedule to accommodate a pending wedding and the surprise to find about half the flooring area having particle board subflooring that they promptly removed and replaced. They knew the tight schedule and found plywood in stock in the cities and drove their the following morning at 4 am to maintain the work flow. Brent and his team did amazing work refinishing our 100 year old maple floor! Our worn out kitchen floor is now beautiful! Brent is very professional and took time to explain each step of the process. He checked with us several times, assuring that the floor was done the way that we wanted. Service = Floor tile - Grout Cleaning and Painting.
When our tile floor was installed, some 30 years ago, I made the mistake of choosing white grout. The grout didn't stay white for very long. Custom Installations had refinished our wood floors (which also turned out beautifully!). At that time, Brent and Kathy said they offered a grout cleaning service. I booked an appointment because I really didn't want to tear out the tile and start over.
The cleaning in the bathroom and entry on the lower level turned out great! However, the grout in the upstairs bathrooms did not respond to the cleaning

We recently added a powder room to our 113 year old Queen Anne Victorian home. Custom Installations did the tile and floor work. It turned out beautiful!!! Part of the project involved moving a 113 year old fireplace that had a very unique tile surround. Brent came up with a beautiful idea to include some of those original tiles (the green border tiles in the picture). What a clever idea! Brent was very professional & easy to work with. Our wood floors were damaged after a water leak from our dishwasher & as a result 3/4 of our main level wood floors had to be refinished & partly reinstalled. After Brent's hard work, my floors are BEAUTIFUL!!! Brent was very calm & reassuring thru the whole process. I would recommend him & his company 100%! The 1st photo is of my damaged floor due to the water damage from the dishwasher. the next 3 are of my floors after Brent's hard work!
