I contacted Steve at Elk Grove Tree Service to do some annual tree trimming. I received a prompt call back from Josh to set up an appointment for Steve to come out and give me an estimate on the work needed. Steve showed up on time and we did a walk thru of what was to be trimmed. Steve is very knowledgable about all different types of trees and knows how they need to be taken care of and trimmed. Steve gave me a very fair estimate and we set a date for service.

Arrived on time, unfortunately due to issue out of their control they were unable to start project at 8 am. Professional and considerately provided 2 back up plans to accommodate my schedule. Crew were able to return the same day at the end of their route without rescheduling for another day.
I was impressed with the crew. The 2 tree trimmers were very conscientious about their work. Both asked me if I was happy with end results before leaving. Crew cleaned up my yard very well after they were finished.

I needed four trees removed in my backyard near my pool. They removed it quickly and with care. They also offered to trim some other trees around the house as well. Elk Grove Tree Service. Can't say 1 negative thing about them. Arrived when they said they would. Courteous, professional, fast and genuinely knew what they were doing. Fair price too. Here at 8am as agreed. Spoke to neighbors and myself, before starting. Since tree was so close to fence, a few boards were broken, but were repaired before they left. I didn't have to bring it up. Once again EGTS exceeded my expectations. As a repeat customer, I trust Steve, LaNette, and crew to get the job done. Lucky for me they were able to fill me into a cancelled spot. The massive tree in my front yard was down in less than 2hrs. The stump grinding person was present 2 business days later. Once the job was complete, no residual mess was left behind. I must add the previous homeowner was fond of rocks. While grinding the stump it was learned either the roots trapped the rocks or the rocks were embedded in the soil with the landscape. Our experience with Elk Grove Tree Service started when my wife called to have them come give an estimate. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone. Steve and Joseph came to look at our trees and give us an estimate - a very reasonable price.

Needed to remove a Monterey Pine Tree and 3 geranium plants. My water line was cut when I had rocks placed in years ago by a landscaper. I don't see myself watering the trees and plants. I want a low or no maintenance front yard. I located Elk Grove Tree Service. What a gem! The contact person, Lynette, was very personable, friendly and professional. They are reasonable in pricing. We rent a home here in Elk Grove and the pear tree in our front yard was in need of some serious pruning and clean up. Elk Grove Tree Service is BEYOND OUTSTANDING ! A pine tree over 60' high in my backyard needed to be removed. (see photos) I was sick of pine needles all over my yard and roof.
Steve and his crew members are VERY knowledgeable and knew EXACTLY what to do from beginning to end to complete this difficult task! At no time was the climber at risk being up to 60' high in the sky dropping all limbs to the ground!! It was a site to behold!! This is how a real team works!! Job was performed in a fast and efficient manner. Cleanup was astonishing! My yard looks unbelievable!! Pricing incredible

Great, trustworthy service! Responded quickly, came out to give me an estimate on my cypress trees as I am a new homeowner and they were looking funky. Joseph came out, assessed the situation and told me they were actually quite healthy and educated me a bit on the trees. He could easily have told me they needed expensive pruning or treatment and I would have dished out the money. I will be coming to them for all tree related needs in the future =)
