Last October we had this company clean our chimney. What a mistake! The cleaner allowed the soot to escape his vacuum and scatter throughout our downstairs, all over the carpet, walls, shelves, etc. It cost me $2000 to have a professional company remove the soot, and the owner of the Chimney Cricket refused to take responsibility. I engaged BBB, Las Vegas Business licensing, Nevada Consumer Affairs. Could find no proof of business license in Nevada (they are hq in Phoenix) and the owner refused to provide his insurance. The lesson I learned from this: get copy of business license in your town and

I have a Wood Burning Stove and contacted Chimney Cricket to come out to the house and clean my chimney and make sure all was good with the safety of the stove and chimney. An appointment was made and Shawn was at my house early to do the work. The stove was cleaned the best that could be done. That evening I had an issue with the stove and contacted the owner of Chimney Cricket which lives in Arizona. Don the owner advised me he was coming to Las Vegas and would contact me to schedule a time to come by and fix the issue at no additional charge. These guys were awesome. Totally went above and beyond. Brought items to keep the mess contained. Solved the pigeon problem and removed 2 I repeat 2 dead pigeons from my chimney. The gent who came out was really friendly along with the owner. He left no mess on a soot and bird nest filled chimney. I would recommend them to anyone who needs this done. I also didn’t know this should be done every 10 years. Mine was probably never done since it was built in 1981 🤮
