Allan Hoppe, Charlotte native, has been an owner of ABS Insulating since 1991 when he and his partner opened the doors. Allan is a very active member of the ABS team. Allan graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1978. After graduating he traveled to Boone, NC where he received his B.S. in Marketing/Management from Appalachian State University.
ABS Insulating was founded in 1991 by business partners Allan Hoppe and Steve Carter. Together they had years of experience in the insulation industry and a strong commitment to customer service. Since that time, the team at ABS Insulating has been serving homeowners and contractors with the expertise and attention to detail the company was founded on.

Mark is punctual, respectful and knows his business! His crew showed up and they couldn’t have been any cleaner and performed the job perfect! The entire process went so smooth and everything I asked of them, they delivered with 5 stars! I made it a point to leave this review because good quality trained people seem to be few and far between in Charlotte.

I highly recommend ABS. I had to pay upfront, which made me anxious. Everyone I spoke to, only had good things to say about this company.
Their price was very reasonable. Carlos and Jose arrived, right on time, and went to work. They put down plastic covering to protect my floors, of course it was raining that day! This was NO problem for them! They were friendly, yet VERY professional. They worked the entire time, no break. This took about 2 hour to complete. They had me check the attic!! Nobody ever asks me to inspect their work!! Wow! Well it looked very good! I was very pleased!

If you're looking for straight-forward good work and customer service, and contractors who are true to their word and show up on schedule - look no further. These are your guys! I called Mark Moore on the recommendation of a friend who had used them at his house. The scheduling for my job was a little unusual due to lack of availability of some of the materials at the factory due to COVID. Mark worked with me every step of the way, and allowed me to procure my own materials through my work. I was only charged for the labor. I've had a great experience doing business with ABS Insulating. Not only have they insulated my house but have also installed gutters on my house and saved me money by installing insulating covers over my stairs and fan. Mark Moore, their installers and office personnel are really good people and very knowledgeable in their business. My whole experience was very good.

ABS Insulating did an outstanding job of installing gutter guards on my house. They went above and beyond to make sure the gutters were clean and functioning properly before installing the gutter guards. They were respectful of my time and my property. I am excited that I no longer have to clean my gutters several times a year. The cost was very fair and they did not try to sell me on additional products. I highly recommend ABS Insulating.

Very impressed with ABS....They were a word-of-mouth recommendation, and I had no prior experience with them. Specifically, I worked with consultant Mark Moore, who was very attentive to my needs. He spent a lot of time in my home, and he and I worked together to formulate a plan that made the most sense. The ABS installation team, led by Noe and Casiano, were on time, thorough, clean, and very professional....I am so impressed with them. I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.

I was pleasantly surprised with the work and price. Mark and his team was what I consider a unicorn in the field of home care....his honesty allowed me to trust.
