As both cousins and best friends, we started Pure Solutions to protect what was important to us- our family, our friends, and the environment. I was skeptical that this company's nontoxic products would work against our tick infestation. I'm now a true believer. We've seen no ticks since Pure Solutions began, and we can sit outside at night now without mosquitos viewing us as their dinner. The business has been easy to contact and replies readily.

So while I truly like the mosquito repellent and my technician, this is a total fail with the deer repellent. Nearly all the hosta are just gone- no leaves left. I had called for extra sprays a couple of times and it was revealed that the deer repellent may not have been sprayed.
Lastly, this is supposed to be 90 for the deer repellent every 21 days. Thats 214 days from April to October. That totals 914. I pre paid 1080. Maybe missing a month but no deer eating hosta in March.
Bottom line - not happy, feeling overcharged.

This company has been easy for me to communicate with, and i like their customer service and the fact that they text you on day of service.
We live in a densely forested part of Jamaica Plain. Beyond our back yard is acres of woods (Allandale Farm Area). think as someone else wrote in their review, one has to have realistic expectations when you live in an area like this. Sometimes using a service like this feels like using a garden hose to fight a massive wildfire, in terms of keeping ticks and mosquitos at bay here.
So, we moved in two summers ago and got this service almost right away so

Friendly service on the phone but follow-up is a nightmare. We're well into late spring and I'm considering seeding my lawn this weekend because I'm not sure I can get another company to come in at this point. I had first contacted them weeks ago and someone came at short notice, but I've had to "stalk" them ever since. I would have been ok with them telling me that my property is too small, or that they don't have time, so they can't work with me, but this is not ok.
My gardener recommended them for their low chemical approach ....

Tried them last year and again this year. Administrative nightmare. We asked for 24 hour notice so we could make sure our windows are closed/seal up the house and notify our neighbor (it's a strong minty smell that concerned her the first time). They can't seem to manage it although committing to it. We always get called an hour before.
Also asked that they come in the mornings (so the smell can be gone by the time our 2 year old is home) and the last time they came after 4pm. We really didn't think we were asking much and in both cases they said they could accommodate us. We

We started using Pure Solutions this year and can highly recommend this company for not only the level of professional service but also for the results. Our house is surrounded by dense forest on 3 sides and I think you have to go into using any service with realistic expectations. I believe the spray significantly helped to reduce the mosquitoes and ticks in our yard. And because we just got a puppy this year as well their resolution to use only the best, most safe and organic ingredients was very important to us. We would highly recommend you giving Pure Solutions a try!

The spray seemed to work well as far as reducing the mosquitoes, however they were not very easy to get a hold of. Something like this should not require such a large amount of time to arrange. The administrative part of this company is my only complaint. I recommended them to friends who had similar issues, with their responsiveness, and complained that Pure only spent half of the time they said was required on their lot (they did not seem much of a difference after application.)
