Hello, welcome and thank you for coming to Fire-Glow, Inc. We are the Losacco family, Marilyn, Joseph and Steven. We have been serving customers in the New York Tri-State area with pleasure since 1966 from a small one man operation to an entire family with a boutique shop filled with over 20 working and burning, uniquely finished and traditional fireplace displays and products.
There's nothing like the authentic natural smell and crackling sound of a wood burning fire. This experience can not be traded for the convenience of gas. It's a sensory experience like no other. I brought in my 15 year old pellet stove that had multiple systems failure. It wouldn't even turn on. John was extremely honest with his assessment. He did not recommend a full rebuild of the components but suggested a piece by piece repair. He saved me thousands by not trying to just sell me a new unit or recommending parts it did not need. Honest and reliable.

Stopped by to pick up a few maintenance products for my wood insert and I have to say I experienced the best customer service ever. I want to thank Maddy who took the time to explain everything I need to know about how to properly maintain a wood burning insert. We purchsed our fireplace insert from Fire Glow more than ten years ago. We love our insert and it gets heavy daily use from November to May every year. Our original blower finally went this week and I called today about a replacement one. They still had our make and model number on file and were able to quickly access that information and let me know wether they had the correct replacement part in stock. I picked it up a few hours later and was pleased with the price. Very happy to support this local business. Would highly recommend.

Earlier this week (Wednesday March 11) I called this business because the blower motor on my wood pellet stove was taking a VERY LONG TIME (i.e. at least 45 minutes) to come up after turning the main switch on. When I spoke to one of their representatives on the phone he immediately said that the stove needed to be opened up and cleaned on the inside. They came to my house at about 12:30 PM and they thoroughly cleaned the stove. When I got home from work later at about 2:45 PM I noticed that the stove was up & running at a MUCH HIGHER setting than the one I normally use. They did a SUPERB JOB in

Even though I have pellet stove dealers closer to my home, I've used Fire Glow's services twice to fix my 16 year old stove because of the great customer reviews they've received. Based on my two experiences with them they certainly deserve those good reviews. They willingly helped me troubleshoot my stove problem over the phone. Once the problem was narrowed down to the control box, I removed the box and took it to their store where they confirmed it was broken when they ran it through their test lab. After extensive research and visiting three fireplace distributors, we decided to make our gas fireplace insert purchase from Fire Glow. The staff are great. They are knowledgeable and patient.
We now have had our unit for a year and a half and are still extremely happy with our purchase.
Today we had our unit cleaned and a yearly maintenance check. Our technician, Alec was great. We are very satisfied customers.

Had a problem with my pellet stove. It wouldn't fire up. Everything seemed to be working but no flame. I called to set up a service call. The gentleman on the phone asked me a bunch of questions to determine what the problem was. He told me how to correct the issue. I went home that night and it was exactly what he said the problem was and I was able to correct it. He could have easily sent someone out, charge a service call and changed a couple of parts and I wouldn't have known. Stand up guy, and a stand up company. And I love me pellet stove. It is the little things that really sets Fire Glow Distributors apart from other fireplace stores. They send postcards every year when it is time to buy pellets. It is a great reminder especially if I am enjoying summer too much I don't think about needing pellets until it's too late. They also offer a early buyers special too! I have had such a great experience with Fire Glow I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fireplace.
