The Painted Otter Refinishers
The tub turned out great. Shiny and smooth. Beautiful job and the guy was so nice. He came back a week later, checked everything and removed the plastic covers from the stainless fixtures. Well worth the money. Very clean cut, well educated, classical pianist - can't figure what he's doing in this business, but he's good.

Nathan is a really nice guy who really knows his business. With the chemical painting/bonding process he performs, the result is a sleek, beautiful, hard surface that only requires a sponge and dish soap to keep sparkling clean. We had an old farm sink - not the new, shallow kind with apron - but an original, deep on one side, and very deep on the other (the kind you can't get any more).

It was a mess: old, dirty, damaged, yellowing, graying, with nicks and chips all over the place. I went to work one morning, and by the time I got home, we had a gleaming white smoothly-enameled surface that looks absolutely beautiful in our kitchen. Outstanding, a perfect gentleman who priced the job well with the finished product looking brand new.
Services
Going Green - We are constantly updating our materials and procedures to have as little impact on our environment as possible. The Painted Otter Refinishers takes great pride in providing preparation and material application methods which far exceed those of any other company in the industry.
Often it may seem that there is no other option than to tear out the old and install new. And sometimes, especially when the structure of the room has been compromised, that is true. However, when considering those perfectly solid yet hideously ugly bathrooms we all enjoy from the times and taste of the 50's, 60's, and 70's, we believe there is a better option.
Is your bathtub or shower worn out and looking shabby? Do you have beautiful bathroom fixtures and counters from the 60's, 70's, or even earlier in those not so beautiful colors? Are you living with the previous owner's decorating scheme? Have you put off remodeling your bathroom because of the high costs or the invasive and inconvenient procedures?
Tile refinishing is a process allowing you to completely update any tile whether it be in kitchen or bath areas to a like new finish and at a fraction of the replacement cost. We utilize a unique process of bonding the new 'glaze' to the existing tile. Our process is specifically designed to promote optimal adhesion and longevity.
With pedestal sinks, in-place oddly formed custom sinks, drainboard sided farm sinks, and other specialized fixtures, our reglazing services will return them to the glory they knew only when fresh from the factory. Sinks age, crack, stain and dull from years of aggressive cleaning and heavy use. Why go through the trouble of pulling out that old sink when all it needs is a face lift?

This company postponed my first appointment, didn't show up for the second, and never called to reschedule. Would not deal with again, very unprofessional.

You didn't call me Thursday, I called you when no one showed up to do the work. You said you'd call me later that day, yet I didn't hear from you until two days later after you'd read my negative online review. It doesn't matter what the emergency was. You needed to call me, at least the next day, to make things right. My negative review stands, and I am no longer interested in patronizing your

Tom did a fantastic job re-glazing our tub and re-grouting the surrounding tile. A little expensive, but worth it - looks like new. Very professional operation.

In May of this year I contracted The Painted Otter to resurface
my arts&craft era tub, whose "before" condition was, in my opinion, SPENT. It was one step away from the dump, It's surface void of enamel half way up the sides, and its color (when freshly cleaned) generally a dull light gray accented with darker gray splotches and blue/green water stains.
I observed the resurfacing process at checkpoints along the way: acid wash cleaning, patch and sand, then spray and seal. Yes, the process was sometimes loud, dusty, and smelly - a strong chemical vapor - but it all fades off after the task is
