1/18/2022 Called today for help with gas logs not working. Purchased from them. My husband explained I had Respiratory illness that meant going w/o heat could jeapordize my health with impending snow Friday and possibly being w/o power. He was told they could repair it in MARCH!!! While I understand the recent cold has increased their business this is crazy if they can’t support repairs for 3 months. We will be searching for repair service in Greensboro.

I’m very disappointed as my phone experience with this initially with this company was great. When I called the 2nd week in December, the receptionist said that the first available appointment was December 28th from 10:00-11:00. No one showed up today and no call from the company. I called to verify the appointment…only to get a voicemail and no callback. Seriously? I just want new gas logs.

This review is solely based on customer service, as most bad reviews are. Communication is key to customer service, and lack of communication gets you "fair" reviews. It's easy to treat customers right, and that alone will get word-of-mouth business. I drove an hour and twenty minutes to buy a GMG pellet smoker at The Flame Company. No one was there when i arrived. Neighbor business said they will be back in 20 min. I waited. Got my grill. After set up, the grill light didn't work. The next day I called. Jay took my address and said it will be mailed out in the morning. Jordan asked me to send

I needed to have my gas log insert fireplace fixed. I was treated by everyone I spoke to at The Flame Company with courtesy, honesty, and concern. The guy who came to my house, Zach, was wonderful and obviously knew what he was doing. It turned out to be a minor problem, and Zach seemed as happy as I was was about that. There was no long wait for an appointment, no pressure to do more than necessary, and when they messed up about the time Zach would arrive, they owned up to it and said they made a mistake. No excuses made. I heartily recommend The Flame Company.

These guys are the best around. From the first phone til they came out and fix my gas logs they truly were A 1 service..Everything was explained in terms I could understand. The technician was very knowledgeable of what was going on.. I didn't have to wait for days or even weeks, they sent someone out within two days of me calling..

Seriously disappointed. We contact them because we really wanted to change our gas fireplace to be wood burning. Our consult/home evaluation was done on November 11, 2020 after being rescheduled once already. My husband called asking about the status of the quote after 2 weeks, and was given a typical oh sorry we will have it in a few days. A month and several calls later still no quote. We literally were begging you to take our money.
Being busy, especially these days, is a good problem to have, but it’s so unprofessional for you to waste our time, and yours for that matter.
