Big River handyman rebuilt shed doors and cleaned out the gutters he was on time did excellent work. He worked well as we watched him work and he gave good advice on what materials we needed for the shed doors. We are very happy with the results. Thank you Joe.

Highly recommended! Joe has performed two jobs for me so far this year, with a deck power-wash and stain application scheduled a couple weeks from now.
Joe’s experience, patience and strength served him well when he hung a very heavy new storm door to a doorframe that was damaged when the derecho twisted the hinges of the previous storm door so it wouldn’t close. (He also removed the damaged door and recycled it.) The new door is perfectly installed. I watched the process and could see that a lot could have gone wrong in installing a heavy cumbersome metal storm door with glass. Really glad

Big River Handyman is, in a word, excellent. It isn't easy to find highly experienced tradespeople who are reliable and well-versed in multiple disciplines of repair, remodel and installation work. Joe Cabana, the owner, is responsive, dependable and knowledgeable. Joe also understands that his workplace is your home and takes care to treat it as if it were his own, leaving it neater than when he arrived. I have found his work to be careful, detail-oriented and fairly priced. I cannot recommend Joe and Big River Handyman service more. You won't find a better partner for your repair and home improvement

I engaged Big River Handyman based only on website reviews and I was very pleased. Joe’s workmanship and work ethic are impressive. He built basement storage shelving for us, to my specifications. They are great! He also replaced garage door trim and painted around door. He replaced our house numbers. Besides meeting or exceeding my specifications, Joe’s communication was exemplary. For example, he kept me in the loop on what days he’d be at the house (as well as having to postpone for weather). He let me know when to expect lumber delivery and by whom. And his prices were fair. I have been using Joe (Big River Handyman) for more than a year at both my residence and as a repair guy for the condo assn. where I live. I have never had a single complaint from anyone about his work and his prices are reasonable. Always on time. My sister used him to do work at her condo and she was over the top satisfied.

I had Joe replaced a section of my wood fence and install a new storm door. He was over right away to give me a free estimate. Once we decided on a day to start he had it done within days.
