I highly recommend Thomas Alphonse for new garage door installation, and anything garage door related.
We needed two new garage doors in the bottom of the house. The old wood ones were falling apart and were very drafty. When looking for an installer, I called 3 other garage installers in the area, some seemed to farm out the work to other installers, got random calls from people giving me quotes that seemed really high, with time estimates 3 to 6 months out for doors that were not even too uncommon. Most of them never even came to do an estimate. Some people never returned my calls.

We had two overhead doors that hadn't been opened in a long time. It's an oldish house (circa 1840) that had been maintained by frugal Yankees fond of and used to jerry-rigging things, including overhead doors. Tom came over and was able to quickly assess the situation and explain options, which included purchasing new doors. Tom was very respectful and answered our questions without applying any pressure. Tom was the best. The parts to replace my door were going to take weeks and I needed to get my car in the garage before the heavy snow hit. He came with parts to repair my door and have it working like new. His rate was VERY reasonable and he was great to work with. You gotta use Alphonse Overhead door!!! No question about it.

We had Tom install 3 new doors at our house and our experience was phenomenal. Response times were always punctual. Very refreshing to have a contractor keep to a schedule. The price was very fair considering the recent high mark-up of supplies and services. In addition to installing new garage doors and motors, Tom also replaced all of the exterior trim around each door. Looks outstanding. Would highly recommend Tom!

Communication was excellent from start to finish. Installation was great - everything done with a real sense of pride in the work. The worksite was left spotless upon completion. 1. Prompt replies, within a day.
2. Came to my house himself to give the estimate and advice.
3. Took the time to explain garage door options.
4. Did not try to upsell me. In fact recommended a less expensive option but just as good as one I was considering.
5. Smooth install in one day.
6. Cleaned up the work site perfectly, made it look better than before.
7. Good explanation of new remotes, keypad, code setting, etc.
