Pick up the phone and call - this is the person you want working on your garage door! I initially called Gilad about his other company for rekeying our new home, and was pleasantly surprised that he could also help me program the new garage door opener. Because Gilad is so thorough, he was kindly explaining how I would know when our garage door would need servicing in the future. During this explanation, he uncovered that the springs needed readjusting. I was familiar with what was happening bc something similar happened in my previous home and we unknowingly waited until the entire garage door

I called GK1 this morning at around 9:30 a.m. and spoke to Gilad himself, not a voicemail. My garage door opener just totally gave up on me yesterday. Needless to say, I needed a new garage door ASAP because it's already getting cold. It was my lucky Monday, Gilad was at my house in 2 hours, and another 2 hours after, he had a new Liftmaster installed. Mind you, he worked out there in this cold weather nonstop until done and he walked me through the operations of this new unit.
I appreciate Gilad accommodating me in such a short notice and for doing a thorough job on my garage door.

Much like the other reviewers I found myself in urgent need of garage door repair when late on a Sunday afternoon my garage door broke and was stuck wide open. GK1 Garage Doors was one of the few places open on a Sunday so I gave them a call. They were on site in a couple hours, very thorough, and after walking me through my options were able to replace my desperately broken garage door unit that very same day. Gilad was extremely helpful and stayed late to make sure everything was taken care (reprograming the old and new garage doors, changing burnt out light bulbs, etc) despite the late hour

Worst vendor ever. Called to fix a broken garage door. Wasn't able to be there as its a rental unit I own in a different town. Over the phone he told me the bar was bent but he was able to make "adjustments" and my unit was in "working condition", so I authorized a $240 payment. Turns out he charged me for a sensor adjustment, and left me with an unsafe, non-operating unit with a bar bent and cracked so bad the whole thing was about about to come crashing down on your head. Had to pay another reputable vendor $345 to do the job right. And it gets even worst....When

I had an emergency situation and my garage door would not close all the way. I was referred by a friend to GK1 and they were able to have a technician come out within an hour! I am so grateful because I had to leave for an appointment and couldn't leave my garage door open with all my valuables inside. They were able to fix my garage door and assist me in programming the keypad that I haven't been able to use since I moved in! YAY!
