The Lewis Family's involvement in the automotive industry began when Ralph Lewis purchased a small car lot in Topeka, KS. Current Owner, Jim Lewis, grew up at his father's dealership. He moved to Dodge City with his wife Tonya and opened his own franchise dealership there. The Lewis family owns nine dealerships in Kansas which are operated by their three children- Jamey, Jenna, and Brad.

Service department was very rude, had an attitude when asked questions and when the vehicle was picked up, there was trash left from someone clearly eating a snack in MY vehicle.

Originally I special ordered a Toyota Tacoma through them to be custom made. However, due to supply chain issues, a custom truck would not arrive anytime soon; but they were happy to accommodate me with an even better Tacoma they had on their lot.
Unfortunately, since day one the radio in the truck had issues. The service department was prompt in their attempts to fix the radio, but it was defective and needed to be replaced. Even though there were some obnoxious setbacks, all of which were because of the manufacturer and NOT the dealership, they were able to get my radio replaced with a brand

I live in Indiana and with the current shortage of vehicles the closest one I could find that met my requirements was at Lewis Toyota. I found the car on the website and called and spoke with Jon. We reached an agreement and I put down a deposit and submitted a credit application online. I flew out two days later and Jon picked me up at the motel. He had most of the paperwork completed in advance. There was about a 30 minute wait on finance contract to be printed and disclosed and signed. The car was prepped, filled with gas and ready for delivery. So about 45 minutes from in the door to out the

The sales staff was amazing we came in letting them know what we were looking for in a new vehicle. They had the exact 2021 Highlander we wanted trim and color wise with the options we wanted that same week. Had everything ready to go on a Friday all we had to do was come in a sign paper work.

I bought a Jeep from them and decided to cancel a contract with them, gave them the information and they said they would take care of it. Waited about a month and didn’t get a refund so tried to contact them but sales manager is never there and won’t return my calls. Tried to talk to the general manager and they are out of the office and won’t return my call. I finally got a call back and they took care of this matter. Sad it wasn’t taken care of when I first started checking in on it.

Buyer beware. Me and my family just had a new baby and we were looking for a nice vehicle. We purchased the 2008 GMC Acadia from this dealership and we asked if it had any major issues prior and we asked for the car fax. The dealers do not car about what they sell people. Turns out the vehicle has had water damage. If we continued to stay in Kansas where it doesn’t rain as much maybe we would have never known. As soon as we moved across country. There was a lot of rain during our drive and the rain was literally in the car puddling on the floors. We had to pull over and wait until it stopped

I leave 2 stars only because the vehicle itself I bought was exactly what I wanted. However, the service provided to me before, during, and after the initial buy was less than what I expected and deserved. They had the Jeep for over a month, yet they didn't do the VIN check. They forgot to give me my title, and I had to contact THEM to get it. The salesperson I spoke to didn't seem to know what her job was and how to do it. All in all, the experience felt like I was walking into store with people that had never sold a car before. Think carefully before buying with them.
