I was quoted 75$ for service call and 3% credit card fee. They were 4 hours late and I called to remind them. I paid 150$ service fee and 10% credit card fee. The young man kept apologizing but I was not moved. He taped up my ducts and replaced a capacitor. Very simple job but they are all over the place with billing. I do not recommend this business at all.

Another company had done an install. They did not complete the job and it was a real mess. The young man had it all figured out and going just over an hour. He explained each thing he found and cost before moving forward; i had been without heat for two months. Cost was very reasonable and I will not call anyone else in the future.

Like most I googled AC repair near me. I saw many reviews and decided to give them a call. Their response time was very quick but that's where the positives end. A very rude and unprepared young man showed up and started troubleshooting my AC. After about 5 phone calls he says "man that things broke" When I ask him what the way forward was he says you need a whole new outside unit. When I ask for a rough estimate he said "man I don't know" maybe $7k someone will contact you. After 1 day I never received any contact from the company. So I decided to give another company a call. Long story but they fixed what 2 other companies couldn't/wouldn't. My evap and coil case died a few years ago. I had another company come out and they replaced that, but ever since that time the AC could never keep up with the heat. Most of the time temp in the house was above 80 though AC was set to 75. I had this same company come back out 2 more times and they couldn't give me an explanation. I had another company come out and they just said I should replace the entire system. Not willing to drop $7000 on a new system I finally called Coast. They came out and quickly

I semi want to rate this place 5 stars, but can't. Not due to any poor service or anything like that, it's just hard to rate them against a lot of competition so I don't know if there was a better company out there.
I do know there is definitely (at least one) worst. I've reviewed them elsewhere.
Anyway, after having no luck on Monday when I was schedule with another company, I called Tuesday (this) morning to try my luck again. I had received a positive review via word of mouth on Coast A/C and thought I'd give them a try.

If it was possible to rate less than one star I would! My elderly father-in-law contacted this company when he had some trouble with his AC recently. My husband and I came over to visit and were able to correct the problem on our own. I told Dad to contact the company and cancel the trouble call. The attendant (who I believe to be the owner) CUSSED out my Dad!!!
When I called the company to discuss the matter he CUSSED at me and doubled down on his ugliness!!
CUSSING (saying "Thanks A$$40le" and "do whatever the "f---" you want") at ANY customer is unacceptable
