Services
All dresser drawers must be completely emptied of all small items (jewelry, cosmetics, paper work, loose change, etc.). China cabinets, breakfronts, buffets, curio cabinets, display cabinets, etc. must be emptied of all breakables. Entertainment centers, stereo cabinets, etc. must be disconnected and emptied of all wires and components (DVD/VCR, etc.).

I have used this company for moving 2 other times with exceptional service. This last time I used them they broke my curio cabinet glass, broke one of my son's legs on his dresser, nicked up doorway in our rental, took my sleep number bed apart and didn't put it back together correctly. I called and spoke to owner who said get the bed fixed and they'll reimburse me for it. He also put the person.who broke my curio cabinet on the phone that said he would look into replacement for mine. I never heard back from them. I called a few months later and left a message and no one has ever called back and

I love Zito Movers! I've moved with them twice so far and they have been incredible. On time, efficient, careful, polite - I really can't say enough great things. Our team was super nice and worked really hard. Our crew chief was fabulous and really communicative. I definitely plan on using them again!

Threw my clothes on the floor in tarps no wardrobe boxes.. one of my coats fell in the floor and everyone was walking on it .. lost the wheels off my coffee table ..clothes thrown in closets on the floor ..unprofessional swearing at each other during the job ..broken dishes..left objects in my old place new owners called me to claim..broke my… office desk..do I need to continue? I have moved Multiple times some state to state this was a short 5 mile move and it was the biggest disaster I have ever encountered. I would not let Zito move me or anyone I care about!! Zito Movers did a terrific job for us in September when we moved from a 4 bedroom home to our new home. Anthony and Lou were very helpful and accessible as we planned the move. Anthony came to our home to provide an estimate and answer questions. The cost estimate was fair.
In addition to furniture, washer, dryer and piano, we had over 300 boxes (at $2 each). The date was changed to accommodate our real estate closing date. Todd and his crew were very courteous, careful and incredibly hard-working. Nothing was damaged or lost. They completed the move as planned between 9 am and 6 pm

Zito movers lived up to their reputation - excellent. I had to reschedule my moving date several times, they were very accommodating. Pricing was fair and competitive. Not a scratch on any furniture pieces. Josh and his crew were friendly, knowledgeable and never complained. I had the same crew for both parts of my two day move. Hard work done right! They truly deserved a good tip.

Moving to another home is more complicated that it seems. Most important a mover is needed that is reliable, provides a clear estimate close to the actual price, and stick to a schedule. Zito Movers are excellent. Most important they were recommended by my Broker. A seller of a house has much to do, and must select what will go and remain. Then the mover is the final element in the purchase of a home. They came to the storage facility that was full of totes artwork, furniture, etc while I was literally 4 hours away in the new home, and arrived a few minutes early. I cannot say enough about how great these movers were! This is the second time I have used Zito Movers and both times they did an incredible job. These guys really knew how to relieve any stress of moving. Todd, Nick, Ken & Bill were absolutely incredible, along with the team in the office. I will definitely be using them again!

We hired Zito to help us move my parents bedroom from upstairs to downstairs because the stairs were getting to be too much for them to do anymore. The guys from Zito we're running a bit late, so they called me & let me know. When they did arrive, they moved quickly & efficiently to move the furniture & also helped us rearrange the furniture to make it fit well. They were very careful moving stuff & very polite. I would definitely hire them again for future moving needs.

This company is a complete DISASTER! The owner Anthony along with his father Lou are extremely unprofessional. They are insured however, if and when they break your items, they will NOT replace them! It's no surprise why the Company went down hill after the brother Joe left! I would NEVER suggest them as a moving company to anyone for anything!! BUYER BEWARE!

I would give 10 stars if that was possible! The crew that moved me was terrific, came on time, carefully moved everything- nothing was broken or even damaged. It was an emotional move for me and their cheerful joking around attitude really helped a lot. Plus there were a couple boxes that got missed and they came back and moved them for me. I even got some great tips for my furniture placement. So many thanks to Andy , Dave and the rest of the crew whose names I don't know. I hope I don't move for a very long time but if I do I will be calling Zito again.

The background: I've moved over 30 times in my life (and I'm not that old), including to Europe and the Middle East. I'm a champion packer, and I've dealt with all kinds of movers in all kinds of circumstances. Zito's was recommended to me when I had to do a local move. Wow - I am really sad now, especially after reading how wonderful and careful they were. It was a whirlwind mess. There was slush through the house and when I asked for blankets, they said "sure" and put a couple on the rugs but none on the floors - they actually took the towels I was using to sop up the mess and put them on the carpeted stairs. They were not in the least bit careful from my point of view - new woodwork was gouged, a new door chipped and a Tribecca coffee table had a major chip in the very dark wood - they also lost the metal tube for the table- and never called to see

My fiance and I bought a house and we did move boxes and small stuff on our own, but we needed someone to move the heavy stuff for us. I'm tiny and can't help him with larger pieces of furniture. Two friends recommended Zito Movers so we booked them to move us.
These guys (three of them) showed up on time and were super friendly and efficient. The whole move took them just over an hour, and they moved: three large dressers, one queen sized bed, one entertainment center, once sofa, one love-seat, one recliner, one heavy gun safe and one huge desk. Oh! And one beast of a treadmill, too

This company moved my 88 year old parents out of their home of 32 years and into a senior apartment. I had to hire them long distance as I live in another state than the move. Their website allowed for a room by room estimate of the furniture and boxes to be moved. I was contacted by Lou Zito the next day with a very reasonable estimate. He told me that it was a flat rate regardless of the time required for the move be it 5 hours or 12 hours. Three movers showed up on time the morning of the move and got right to work. We had Zito Movers move us into our new home just this last week...the service was excellent and I would highly recommend them. If I move again, I'll definitely be calling them. Here are my reasons why:
- They were prompt, and they wasted no time getting me out of my apartment and into my new home. We were out of our apartment and in our home in less than 3 hours total.
- The service was outstanding. They handled my stuff as if it were their own, and they took apart and reassembled our beds. They also set up our furniture in the rooms the way we liked.

I used their online system to start the estimate process, which attempts to quantify the major furniture/appliances you have, plus asks for a number of "boxes." They called me with a quote for the move, and made it VERY clear that that quote was good ONLY for the exact number of boxes I had plugged into their website. I need to make a small move of items out of storage back home.
The crew arrived early (they called earlier in AM to see if I could be the first move but my schedule couldn't accommodate). The movers were able to drive right up to the storage location without disrupting others at the location.
They were able to load the truck very quickly - all of movers took care of the furniture by wrapping them up in protective covers and then tying up the load.
At the house, the movers were efficient placing all of the items in the basement quickly - withing about 20 minutes. Throughout the move

The bad: I was the 'first move of the day' and the movers were more than an hour late. They didn't call until after they were 45 minutes late. I called their office when they were almost 30 minutes late and no one answered. They also did not hook up my washer and dryer (I'm not 100% sure this was part of the move but I kind of expected it and would have even been happy to pay for it, since they had to unhook it at the old place.) and they didn't place the units in the areas they belong. I was quite happy with these guys for the most part. They have 4 crews that work in a day and they average 12 jobs a day between the 4 groups. That is insane if you ask me, but these guys are tough. They had great sense of humor, were willing to take our suggestions, help us out and even fixed our nook, which was previously damaged by M&J movers. They had some issues with our fiberboard desks and had trouble putting it together, but all of us taped it and bubbled wrapped it and I will put it back together later.

I never thought shopping for movers could be as big a deal as it was. When we bought our first house, we assembled the crew of friends and did it ourselves. After that day, we vowed to hire movers for the next time. Well, that time came this past weekend. After gathering quotes from 6 moving companies, I seriously considered gathering the crew for one last hurrah -- moving ain't cheap!! Well, 5 companies were in the $2K range, and 1 was $400. One of these things is not like the other things, and I wasn't about to trust the lowballer.

First time ever using a moving service and I am impressed! I was told that with the amount of furniture I was moving from a house to a storage unit it would take around three hours. The two young men showed up on time and got the house empty in just about an hour. They dropped some stuff off at my house and hauled old furniture to the curb. They also loaded the small storage unit perfectly!
I was at home by 11.15am. I really couldn't expect any more.
