We had some space in our foyer that served as a temporary office until Uzi and the team made the temp space a permanent office. Beautiful job adding a custom wall with seamless integration into the existing space. Already called for more work at our place and will do again. Hard to find a reliable and trustworthy contractor but you can get that here.

From the beginning of our roof saga, Amir has been very responsive. We had a storm knock several shingles off our roof and we had Ground Up Builders to do some repairs at first. But after a second storm came through and knocked even MORE shingles off, we called them back to replace the whole roof. When they removed all the shingles, they saw there was no roof deck and little support on the plywood that had been placed beneath the shingles. We had an old kitchen to gut and remodel. They gave us a reasonable quote including new cabinets, new electrical wiring, ventilation duct, new ceiling. We worked on a design together, and once we agreed on the terms, they gave us a planning, started on time and finished the job in 8 weeks as planned. Always responsive, courteous, efficient. We could always discuss our changing requests and they gave us good advices. The project manager was a pleasure to work with. Final corrections were easy.

For full transparency I used to work for Uzi about 5 years ago. When my AC on the house was on its last leg in this crazy summer heat I knew just who to call. I've always felt Uzi was very fair with his pricing and always went above and beyond for his clients. I called him directly and sure enough he set up a time for his guy to come to the house and give me a bid. As much as I like Ground Up Builders I still got 2 other bids. Ground Up Builders was extremely responsive! I called them one day and they called back immediately to schedule a visit the very next day to give us a quote. The work we requested included upgrading our condo throughout. They installed a beautiful step-in shower in our primary bathroom and upgraded our guest bathroom with a new sliding tub door with new trim around the shower tile. They installed two new toilets and cabinets in both bathrooms as well as upgrading the lighting and electrical throughout our condo. Uzi and his team not only do large projects but they also delivers results on small projects. I had a puzzle to solve in my home to fit a new larger sized fridge in a kitchen that was built to accommodate a small one. We needed a little bit more room to open the french doors on top. I had an idea to open up the space between 2 studs of a wall beside the fridge. If I were to do it myself it would of taken weeks but he had 2 guys come in and do in in 2 days. Within 24 hours of my original review, Ground Up contacted me. The office manager was apologetic and quick to help rectify the problems I shared. The team led by Adan was thorough and careful. They worked diligently to correct many smaller issues, as well as two larger ones.
In the bathroom, they removed all of the tile in the shower and completely replaced it. Our original tile is discontinued but Adan's team was quick to help me find a suitable replacement. Since the accent tile didn't match now, the workers brought many samples to help me select the best match. In the bedroom

Uzi and his team were great. He thoroughly explained the process so I understood all options and costs, and kept me in the loop on all details. They were always on time and even got the job done early. Uzi also updated my roof draining system and replaced the old hardware to match the new hardware pipes. He also replaced my skylights which were in major need of an upgrade. Would highly recommend.

Aaron was belligerent and argumentative the whole time. No sense of customer service.
The job took 5 times longer than promised
Never completed the work , and left us with expensive repairs we had to do becuase of breaking our expensive marble.
Left us having to totally redo the entire project.

I challenge anyone to find a better General Contractor and more importantly a stand-up guy who is a real class act. UZI is extraordinary!! Then you meet the gentlemen that work for him and the quality of work and quality of human being continues. I had an idea of adding a little addition off our daughters balcony and he brought it to a complete reality and surpassed all our expectations...now this new enclosed addition seems like this side of the house has been here since the house was built! The craftsmanship from framers to tile work was first class. I can't give a higher recommendation

I can not recommend Uzi Zaray and the crew of Ground Up Builders enough. We hired Ground Up Builders after getting bids from four contractors. We were impressed with how clear his bid was and his enthusiasm for bringing life to a total fixer upper. We made major interior changes, including moving a kitchen, redoing all the windows, adding new floors, adding a new bedroom, adding a master bathroom, installing a new Hvac system, removing all the weird soffits, and demolishing nearly 600 square feet of unpermitted space.
