The oven in my relatively new whirlpool range (about 3-4 yrs) decided not to heat up on saturday afternoon just when i wanted to reheat my leftover pizza! i checked the internet for recommended approved repair service near des plaines and found Area Appliance to be well-reviewed and A+ rating with BBB. called Lou and explained the issue. he couldn't squeeze me in on sunday but it wasn't an emergency so we made an appt for monday morning. as he promised, he called 20 minutes ahead to let me know he was on the way & was right on time. the repair took about 30 minutes to replace the thermocouple and

I spoke to Lou on the phone and he was absolutely outstanding very patient. He walked me through what could have been the issues and the problems with my refrigerato.r I believe he fixed the issue and his attention to detail and his personalized service and his demeanor were just outstanding. I would recommend this company to anyone. What was nice was it wasn't about the money it was about the service and that's what I really appreciated.

Excellent experience. Showed up on time,masked,gloved and ready to go. He had the replacements parts that were needed.
I watched as he worked in a clean and thoughtful manner. My mud room is a tight fit, he worked around the limited space with ease. Price was great. Will call any time I need a repair. I highly recommend Area Appliance,

Spoke to Joe the owner today for a dishwasher minor repair and he walked me through the repair over the phone; as it was something I could easily do, he said. What an honest guy! Integrity and and honesty is something we don't see much of anymore these days. He didn't hesitate to help. 5 stars ALL the way. Will definitely use him for larger repairs in the future! Awesome!! 😄
