Anne is the daughter of Steven Graves, the original owner and president of Econotemp from 1979-2015. She had the opportunity to work and learn alongside her father, mother, and aunt, who played many roles in the management and daily operations of the company. Econotemp, Inc. regularly offers seasonal cleanings on residential air conditioning systems, furnaces, and humidifiers. We recommend having maintenance performed when the weather changes at the beginning of the season, and we have pre-season sales every year. Every spring when the outdoor temperature finally reaches above 65 degrees for multiple days, we offer a ten (10) point cleaning and inspection of the outdoor condensing unit.

Jason was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the steps we might take to improve heating and cooling throughout our 2 story home (plus unfinished full basement). He worked with us to come up with a temporary series of steps to see if we could improve the temperature differential between floors. As first-time home owners - we have very little experience with heating and cooling equipment. When our A/C malfunctioned, we feared, from our online research that we might have to get our unit replaced - Andrew took a look at our setup and found out that there was a simple fix instead and advised us not to spend over the top for a new furnace or A/C for no reason. We really appreciate his honesty and excellent advice since we ended up with a $89 fee instead of $3300. I would highly recommend him and Econotemp for your heating/cooling needs.

I was able to schedule same-day service when one of my AC units stopped working. Bill B. showed up on time (in full Covid 19 protective gear) and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the replacement part on the truck and even showed me the failed part which had obviously given up the ghost after 12 years of faithful service. He cleaned and checked both units and checked them for proper operation. I recommend Econotemp for quick, reliable, and professional service.

Our AC was on the fritz and fortunately, I was able to get in with a last minute cancellation opening up. The office manager Tina was cordial and got me scheduled. On the day of the call, Jason the tech came and was nice and diagnosed the problem in a jiffy. 30 minutes late and a blown capacitor, Jason took my payment and was on his merry way. Recently had the computer module on my heater go out leaving my house at 40 degrees. I called to get the part and was going to install it myself(having no clue what I was doing) when the guy at the store said they had a tech in the area that could come out and take care of it in less than an hour. The guy came out and took care of my issue within an hour and we got the heat working again. The part was reasonable the the cost for replacement was half the other quotes I had gotten. I first used Econotemp over 20 years ago for a whole new system install in a former house. There were equipment issues, but they made it right and replaced the whole unit. I have been a parts customer every few years since then.
They've always been a good place to buy parts. They're never as cheap as the internet, but you get the value of the knowledge behind the counter, quick pickup and not too much sticker shock. I am saddened that they have now gone to 8-4 M-F parts hours as we all know HVAC only breaks on weekends.

Used these guys twice to buy parts. The first time, they were the only place open on a Sunday and were able to get me the part. Second time they were cheaper then there competitor by 25%, had it in stock (competitor didn't), and offered to test my old gas valve before i bought their new one.

I have had to call them out every year for the last 3 years because my electric furnace has stopped working during the winter. Until this year the problem has been wires breaking from overheating. Each year I -paid about $250 to have the wires replaced.

A few weeks ago I was scrambling to find an inducer motor on a Saturday because my furnace wouldn't light. It was a 45 degree Saturday but below zero temps were coming on Monday. I called and you had it, and you had suggested the fan blade too because the set screws rust. Thank you for that , I had to cut the shaft to get the old motor out . Its that kind of knowledge and help that really saved the day. Thank you !

Great experience with Econotemp. Had a different company come out first and try to push us into getting a new furnace. Our current one is about 11 years old and he sited all these problems with it. Had Econotemp out the next day when the furnace completely failed. He came fast, was very informative and said our furnace was fine just needed one part. Total cost $200 . Well worth it!! I couldn't be more please with my experience! I needed an inducer blower for my 20 year old Lennox furnace. They immediately knew what I was talking about and didn't talk down to me. They had the item in stock for a price close to where they are on Internet sites and completely reasonable for the convenience of local pickup.

I have a 20+ year old wall air conditioner unit in my condo, and as long as I've been here (3 years), I've never had a filter for it. I stopped at Sears Hardware, they didn't have it, so the guy there told me to go to EconoTemp.
