Born and raised in the profession, this is what my great grandfather started doing in the early 30's and he passed down the trade to my grandfather whom passed it down to my father who then passed it down to me.

Unfortunately I was left with no option but to take them to court and file a complaint with the License Board (DPOR). Fortunately I won a judgement in Prince William General District Court for a full refund and the Virginia DPOR issued a violation with a fine and remedial education requirement.

After having an unfortunate experience with an unlicensed paving contractor, Mark and Nova Paving Industries came to the rescue. He very quickly responded and proposed a remedy for the shoddy paving work that had been done. I couldn't be more grateful. And his prices were on par with what it had cost me to get a bad job done.
All in all, I am very happy with the work that Nova Paving Industry performed which was not only professional but the kindness shown to a homeowner who had been burned was much appreciated. See before and after photos below

I contacted several companies to resurface my driveway. NOVA Paving Industries provided a reasonable quote and it has the best rating across different platforms I checked. I could feel that NOVA was really confident about their work as it did not send someone to check the worksite, but provided quote and recommendation based on photos I sent.
NOVA showed up the day and time they said they would. It was a small crew of five people. Once onsite, the people began working immediately. They spent 4 hours to complete what others said would be a one-day job. Before leaving, Mark spent time to walk through

Resealing is complete and our driveway looks like a million dollars!
And as when they were resurfacing, the team was clear on what they offered on the warranty, next steps, and how to keep the drive way looking awesome. We want this to be one and done, so will be following with them for annual sealing to ensure this happens.
What I really appreciated most was that the team offered to squeeze me in on a weekend to accommodate an urgent family issue that would have prevented resealing for a couple more months. Thank you for being flexible.

We did our research to find a paving company for driveway repair. We decided to work with Nova Paving and were very impressed! The team was on time and finished the driveway in less than an hour! 15 minutes after driveway was completed, I noticed a neighbor walking by & checking it out! He said, it looked great! Mark and his team expanded our driveway, extended a culvert and built two small retaining walls. His team was prompt, courteous and professional. Pricing was fair and honest. I fully intend on hiring them again to seal the driveway later this summer. Great family-owned local business, wish there were more like them!

Great price on the driveway, however, you get what you pay for. Had a bad mix when the driveway was installed which has caused the driveway to crumble and break in certain areas, and a lot of bare stone still showing.
They had kept telling me that they were going to come and seal the driveway, and that would fix the problem, however, after over 4 months of contacting them NUMEROUSE TIMES trying to get them to come out and fix the issue, I had decided to hire another company to come and sealcoat because the driveway had started to fall apart.

Finding a reliable paving company is one thing; finding a reliable paving company who completes a job that can last longer than a few years is another. I naturally assumed that if/when you pay a few grand to have your driveway completely repaved that it should really last longer than it takes to push out another Star Wars Episode.

Solid work and very fairly priced. Nice guys too. They resurfaced my entire driveway and extended it out to my free standing garbage. So far it looks really good. I like that Mark, a second generation owner, was honest and backs up all his work with a warranty. We spotted some small potential soft spots in the soil when they did the driveway install, and Mark made me feel comfortable that if it causes issues later on that he'd make sure to come out and repair any defects. I'll be using them again for future projects!
