I would choose 0 stars if that was an option. We were talked into buying an Electrolux washer and dryer, which makes me think they must have received some large incentive from the company. They barely let me look at another brand. There were problems with both the washer and dryer from the day of installation. Home Appliance’s repairman was here at least 8 times in the first year and that included months when they could not come due to the pandemic. A beautiful comforter I washed was burned in the dryer. They claimed to have fixed all the issues each time they came and Jeff insisted they were

We purchased all new appliances from Home back in 2015. They were very good to deal with. Worked with Thomas, their Sales Mgr. Recently, we had to replace the Microwave. We had insurance thru New Leaf that was sold to us by Home with the original purchase of the appliances. We got back a reimbursement that fully covered the cost of a new microwave. We ordered the new microwave over the phone with Thomas, it was easy & quick. As for delivery & installation, it was very professional & efficient. They did call Wed evening around 5pm to give us a time window for next day delivery and did come on the

Bought dishwasher from home. They couldn't get the one I wanted so they suggested a more expensive one which I bought. I was told that insulation was going to be $150 when the men got here the price went up to 300 they said they had to do additional work. Never was told there could be additional work was totally surprised I asked Home to at least split the cost with me they refused I will never go back to that appliance store again. Home said they gave me a bill telling me it would be $150 or more never received that part of the paperwork they did not tell me the truth.

I've been using Home.Appliance since 2001. Although I feel that I am a loyal customer, I also comparison shop to get the best prices. I check local stores, bix box retailers and internet prices. I was looking for a fridge for my garage and found a model I liked and found the lowest internet price. I went to see Mike at Home, but didn't tell him I had a price in mind or that I had been shopping around. I gave him the model number and he came back with a price better than I had found and it was delivered and set up within 3 days. I highly recommend.

Bought an a/c unit from them. They charged my card in two seconds and then all the lies started. First they said I'd have it in a week and that was a lie. 3 weeks later after calling them 5 times they sent someone with a different a/c unit that I ordered (one that was worth far less than what I paid) and they couldn't even put it in. After complaining again they sent a different crew that was completely unprofessional and downright nasty even after I thanked them and tipped them $40 in to addition to the $50 I already paid to have it installed. Well the Covid 19 pandemic has resulted in more home meals as a result of the stay home program. After many years of use my Weber Grill lived out its life. Rather than a difficult to navigate big box store I chose to contact the reliable nearby independent. I've had great experience with them previously and they continue on that track. Representative described all the grills and features , made honest recommendations and made the purchase very easy. Grill delivers today at time promised. Shop Local really paid off in excellent buying experience and in installation. Needed a new dishwasher, after going on line and researching what was available went to several difference stores to look at the different models.This is were the difference between stores really became apparent.While some stores had lots of different models the salespeople were obviously not really knowledgeable of the different products.
We then went to Home Appliance which we have purchased before.
There was the difference, no predatory sales person just someone to assist you in selecting what you where

Hi folks, welcome to Home appliances in Oceanside, Long Island.
Wife and I are looking at new furniture. We have a few ideas and we're looking to add some new ones. We really like patronizing small local businesses and with it's free parking lot, Home seemed the ideal place to browse.
After walking in I was surprised at the amount of merchandise in this little corner store. What immediately struck me was the genuine friendliness of the sales folks that offered to help me. I was especially pleased to be introduced to the idea of adding a electronic fireplace to our new furniture lineup

I redid my entire house with appliances from Home. Walking into the showroom the salesman are helpful and really knowledgeable. They'll tell you what to spend on, and what not to spend on. Jeff was also helpful and wants to see you get the best service you can get. On all of the occasions that I went to Home the prices were better, the delivery was better, and the installation was done quick and easily. I did a lot of internet shopping and they beat all of those prices.

It is a total mystery how these guys operate. Somehow, they manage to beat big box stores and Internet prices yet provide local friendly service.
We bought air conditioners, TVs, stereo systems, washers, dryers and a dishwasher. It's very awesome to be able to drive down the block and get such amazing prices with great service.

These guys are just the best. From the polite office help to the salesmen, very professional and helpful. The owner/manager Jeff is a raving sack of cr*p who thinks he is something special to the appliance business. He talks to customers like they are dirt, is unapologetic, disrespectful, takes no responsibility for anything. If something goes wrong, don't expect this store to take responsibility and rectify the problem. Jeff shouldn't be allowed to deal with customers, he's just a nasty miserable person who should stay in his office. Salesmen are pretty nice and helpful though.

I needed a new fridge and a friend took me here. Mike helped me and was really efficient and fast. So I figured I'd buy a microwave too since mine was broken for years and I was here anyway. I wanted basic and mike found me an inexpensive model. He didn't try up selling me at all and I appreciated that.
The stuff came on time and the delivery guys were very professional.

They have a large neon Open sign that was illuminated. Walked in at 930am, but was rudely told to leave because they open at 10am. I should read the signs... I actually did, it did say Open. Owner was rude to me for no reason. I have never been treated so nastily by a local shop owner before. Never spending an dime here again. Will shop with my feet and take my business elsewhere.
