Services
The following is a synopsis of our long company history in the pool care industry. Poolcare Services was formed. Working out of a small garage in Greenwood, Indiana, the owners started going door-to-door soliciting swimming pool service to gain a customer base. Within a few years, Poolcare Services had outgrown the small garage and moved into a warehouse in the Beech Grove, Indiana area, and was an established swimming pool service company.
Our retail store is located at 741 S. State Street in Greenfield. Chris began working in the swimming pool industry upon graduation from high school in 1984. He started as part of a pool building crew for, what was then, Indiana's largest pool builder. He went to work with Poolcare Pool & Liner Service Inc. in 1985 and took over ownership in 1995.
Opening price is based on making one trip. Water and debris must be removed from winter cover prior to arrival. If water and/or debris is not removed, additional charges will be applied. Price includes up to 30 minutes of vacuuming. If pool water is not clear at pool opening, the pool will not be vacuumed but an additional four gallons of liquid chlorine will be added to help clear water.

I have found pool places are hard to deal with, trust, and communication is always off. Not here!
My water testing is done here all season long- recommendations are made and zero of their products are every pushed on you.
Friendly staff and everyone seems to be knowledgeable.
We had them close our pool this year and we had zero concerns after they left. Great place!

Posting based on multiple years' patronage. Recently, staffing and store hours have been problematic that years ago never experienced. Visited last year and store wasn't stocked well, sort of barren. They have somewhat traditional pool water testing, and they couldn't resolve my wall staining and high chlorine use issues (they suggested I replace all the water; which ultimately didn't have to do it. I'd visit for pool chemicals due to proximity and perhaps a few parts due to convenience. Used to be my place of choice but lately just for convenience.

The owner Chris is such a hardworker and is so knowledgeable. Tanya is his office administrator and she is always prompt to offer questions and send someone to your home to deal with any issues you're having. They've been serving the central Indiana region for 20+ years and you won't find a better place to go for your pool and spa needs.

PoolCare is a local family owned and operated business. They sell all the products you need to keep your pool clean and well maintained, as well as providing to your door / pool services for you for mostly below ground, but also above ground pools.
They will give you a small plastic bottle to fill with your pool water, that you can bring in each visit and they will test your water on their computer for you, so you know exactly how much chlorine, shock, or other PH balance type chemicals to add to your water. This is a FREE service they provide their customers.
I would usually buy about 16 gallons

Pool care is terrible. They came to my house did not call, knock, nor ring my door bell & expected me to know they were there because my dogs were barking. First of all my dogs bark at everything... Another person walking their dogs, joggers, neighbors coming home. The man who runs it was very rude to me. I am definitely taking my business elsewhere.
