Services
Greg Althouse began the company in 1988 as a one person carpet and upholstery cleaning company for El Paso. Today, water extraction, fire damage restoration and General Contracting requires much of the company's time and effort. Althouse Restore is dedicated to the finest customer service and continued professional improvement.
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has served as the Industry Guardian for the cleaning, inspection and restoration service industries for more than 30 years. As a non-profit certification organization, the IICRC helps ensure that you have access to trusted and trained cleaning professionals by establishing and monitoring certification programs and standards for these industries.
Would you visit a doctor who did not keep up with the latest medical break-through? Or even worse, visit a doctor who never attended medical school? Only technicians with continuing professional education by the IICRC, and hands-on experience can assure you that your home will be dried out properly.
When your water heater breaks and releases 60+ gallons of water in your home, hopefully your first response is to turn off the source of the flooding and remove from the floor objects that may be damaged. What's next? Call Althouse Restore to extract the water from the carpet and dry your home to prevent mold.
Often people in El Paso assume that because we live in the desert there is rarely a need for water damage restoration. However broken pipes, faulty appliances, and backed up sewer lines can cause extensive damage to your home if not properly addressed. Two ways of classifying water damage events are 1) the cleanliness of the water and 2) the difficulty in removing the moisture.
