Chimney and fireplaces are not only functional to create heat, but it also adds ambience to any home. Cold winter days and nights relaxing in your home while sitting by a crackling fire creates a beautiful picture and it comes to mind when your home has this extraordinary feature. This special home feature is like any other accessory appliance; there are potential dangers if it is not installed and maintained properly.
Fireplaces and chimneys can be very hazardous and dangerous if left neglected or improperly maintained for too long. Premature failure of the underlying structure itself can damage the mortar joints and cause cracks that crumble further and will cause "small" chimney fires. Even before the second chimney fire can penetrate the cracks caused by the first, the carbon monoxide can escape the chimney and leak into the living quarters of the home.

Services
Now, with over 23 years in the industry and having worked with some of the best companies in the area, he is now poised to share that same professional, clean and courteous service with clients old and new. Provide peace of mind that your chimney and fireplace is properly inspected and able to be used safely.
Chimney inspections often reveal hidden problems with a chimney structure that could be potentially hazardous. Sweeping of a chimney not only removes layers of creosote from the chimney surface, but it also removes the resulting loose soot and creosote from the chimney, fireplace, or wood stove. A substantial percentage of fireplace and wood stove chimneys do not provide a straight path from the firebox to the outside.
A chimney sweep is a worker who clears ash and soot from chimneys. The chimney uses the pressure difference caused by a hot column of gas to create a draught and draw air over the hot coals or wood enabling continued combustion. During normal operation, a layer of creosote builds up on the inside of the chimney restricting the flow.
This depends on how often you use your fireplace or stove. Chimneys, fireplaces, and vents shall be inspected at least once a year for soundness, freedom from deposits, and correct clearances. Cleaning, maintenance, and repairs should be done as necessary. You should clean your chimney before the start of the burning season during the spring, summer or early fall which is the best time to get your chimney inspection and/or chimney cleaning.

As new homeowners of an older home, we had Chimney Mike's come replace our flexible gas line and clean and replace the embers after our inspector had concerns. They were knowledgeable, on time, communicative, and overall wonderful to work with. Now we have a wonderful working (and safe!) fireplace. Highly recommend.

Chimney Mike's entire team is excellent. Entire process to schedule estimate and installation of REALFYRE gas logs was stellar. Chimney Mike's is professional, polite, pleasant, efficient, with good communications and follow up. HIghly recommend. Kept me posted on delay of product due to COVID supply chain disruption. Told me up front it would take longer than usual due to this situation, still arrived earlier than I expected. Installed beautifully, Mountain Birch fire logs are gorgeous.

Excellent experience. Had to replace a chimney pan and one of the walls in the fireplace. Easy to set up appointment, they called ahead to let us know they were coming and showed up on time. Let us know what they would be doing and then did what they said they would do and left the worksite clean. Would absolutely bring them back if other work is required.

I am exceptionally pleased with the level of professionalism, craftsmanship, clear communication, willingness to educate the client, and dedication to excellence executed by this company.
From speaking to the receptionist, getting my initial quote, and being serviced by Mr. Daryan every step of the process was seamless, and exceeded my expectations. And as a female real estate investor it's important to have a company you can depend on such as Chimney Mike's!

Chimney Mike's Chimney Sweeps was excellent for a chimney inspection and cleaning. I called to make an appointment and they texted the day of when the technician was on his way. Daryan, the tech, was on time, wore a mask the entire time, and even repaired our damper for no extra charge. Pricing was as quoted over the phone. We'll be doing business with Chimney Mike for as long as we need a chimney sweep! Highly recommend.

Called twice left messages for return call, finally called a third time someone answered and we scheduled appointment for 2:00 for a chimney sweep. They arrived at 2:30 with no call to say they would be running late. They were down in our basement all of 5 minutes and left not a word to the tenant so I called to find out what happened no answer so left message about two hours later we called again finally someone answers to tell us the liner needs changed. We received an estimate for 1,054.00. Meanwhile we got a second opinion and it was a birds nest clogging the chimney once cleaned out and tested

Mr. Mike was professional during both calls before and during his service. He was easy to schedule with and arrived within the prearranged time frame. He was willing to teach during his work and took extra time to make sure I was happy with the work that he did for me. Overall, I would recommend his business to anyone who appreciated professionalism. I will certainly work with him again in the future when I need additional work done.

A friend referred me to a company and I was told to ask for Mike. I was a little disappointed that they told me that he no longer worked there (Chimney Mischief) , but they were kind enough to give me his information anyway. I called Chimney Mike and he answered right away and I scheduled my inspection and cleaning for the following week. He came into my home inspected my fireplace and really took his time to explain everything that I needed to have done. I don't know a flue from a hearth, but when it was all said and done I felt like I learned so much about my fireplace and now I am not afraid
