I used Sustainable Improvements for my basement renovation. It included two bedrooms, a family room including a wet bar and a bathroom. Back in December 2019 I paid $350 to Chris Rose of Sustainable Improvements for a home energy audit. I found this business through the Xcel Energy home energy audit webpage. Figured since this is a local business I would use them but the overall experience has been mediocre.
I never received my audit report, so I emailed numerous times in late 2019 and early 2020 and finally heard back on March 26th 2020 with Chris Rose admitting to dropping the ball on my home energy audit report. Chris Rose stated that he would make things right and would get me a refund, but no action was taken.

Notified Chris with Sustainable Improvements to have an energy audit completed on my residence. Chris arrived on time and was thorough. He was able to explain what he was doing to check my residence for energy efficiency. Chris explained that I did not have enough insulation in the walls and he was able to put me in touch with a company who performed the work. Chris explained that I qualified for two separate rebates for the audit and having the insulation blown into my walls. Very happy with Chris and sustainable Improvements who was helpful in saving me on my heating and cooling bill.

Sustainable Improvements came through for us in the clutch! A pipe froze and burst in our rental property just a few days before tenants were set to move in. This of course required some drywall to be removed to be fixed. Chris came out the same day to consult and made sure the area was re-insulated AND that the drywall was repaired, all within our very tight timeframe. These guys are awesome!!

Chris handled my roof claim soup to nuts. His company not only replaced the entire roof for what the insurance was willing to pay out, but he also installed a free upgrade of Class IV shingles and called my insurance agency to make sure I got the premium deduction. Above and beyond service, I think everyone should have this white glove experience when dealing with claims. Thank you so much Chris!
