Founded in 2005. Montage Decor was the vision of Gavin Ishikawa. Born and raised in a construction family, he saw the passion that his father had when revealing a finished project to the homeowner and wanted that same feeling. What I witnessed is Montage is dubious, unethical, dishonest, lacks construction protocol and integrity. Contract signed is for 60 days for completion. 4 months verbal agreement, and truthfully 2.5 years and still ongoing because Montage dishonesty in their finance logic still remains the disagreement. Montage integrity refuses to fix their final payment ledger to show truth what they owe my dad.

If we ever need another renovation project we definitely know who to call. Whether the project is big or small they do it all! Great company that understands service, is responsive & does quality work at a fair price ~ all traits which seem to be a rarity these days. Grant & Kris installed our sliding door despite unexpected wood rot & termite damage. They even puttied & caulked the area around it. The owner Gavin called after the job was done to ensure it all went well. Definitely exceeded my expectations!!

Went to the Builders Home Show to change our tub to a shower and met with several companies. Prices were comparable but decided to go with Montage because of their customer service. We met with the owner Gavin. He is very thorough in his explanations and what was to be done. We also worked with Wendy, our project co-ordinator, throughout the job. I had Montage install new flooring and repaint the entire house. The whole process was simple and fast from start to finish. I had them come back and put a screen door on the front of the house. Same deal. Easy to order, easy to have them come out and install. I strongly recommend if you want quality craftsmanship.

In May of this year, we had the misfortune of having our upstairs neighbor's water heater leak into our unit. The leak was quite extensive- damage encompassed the entire wash closet, and a good part of the kitchen. I called Montage Decor and could not have been happier with the results. I want to thank Gavin and all the wonderful people at Montage Decor (especially LJ and RJ - you guys rock!) They helped us repair the damage to our wash closet and kitchen, helped us design and install our new kitchen, and install new flooring. Their work is superb and they were all friendly and courteous

Great experience working with Montage Decor for our bathroom remodel. Met Montage Decor at the BIA show. Everything went smoothly, with ease of doing business from start to finish. Montage communicated well with us every step of the way. They listened to what we wanted & were very conscious of our budget. Very pleased with the finished project Our family loves the new bathroom. Our job involved repairing an interior tile wall that was bulging and cracking. Montage Decor did an outstanding job on the repair work at a very reasonable price. Equally important was that they carefully sealed off the area to contain the dust and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done. That to me is a sign of a professional contractor who takes pride in their services. I highly recommend them.

We feared, but could not confirm a leak from our upstairs toilet. We had one several years ago with water seeping through the drywall ceiling and I didn't want to go through it again. Called Montage Decor and they did a thorough check. No leak was found this time, but they replaced the old, stained dry wall ceiling and put in a new faucet and disposal in the kitchen which I had been meaning to do, but had never gotten around to doing. You know how it goes, wife asks me to do it, I say "yes dear, yes dear" but a year later still not done so I asked these guys to do it since they

Find someone else to work with. Terrible communication, customer service, and follow up with their chosen vendors. They STILL have not given proper drawings to their electrician for DPP and therefore still cannot get a permit to get it closed out. Initially hired in Feb 2017. They didn't start work until August 2017 and gave every excuse in the book to put off our job eventhough they held our huge deposit. To date (it's Feb 2019) permit still not closed out. Terrible.
