We created Solar Pile Driver to be a company that focused on doing one thing well. That is we only specialize in driving posts for ground mount solar systems with excellence! Combine that with the fact that we are quick and nimble as a company ready to drive piles anywhere. When comparing to the alternatives with Vermeer PD10s we are only 8,000lbs compared to 16,000lbs.
The core service of our company is driving solar piles utilizing a Gayk HRE4000 hydraulic ram which is a track driven Machine. This tool allows us to drive piles that are up to 16' into the ground in under three mins in most cases. We also have the Gayk HRE5000 which is capable of 20' tall piles as well.
Yes USIC has missed this before which is why we now perform a passive locate even after the official locate has been called in. Depending on system size, the system may just follow the slope of the earth depending on drop in grade and system size. If the system is a tracking system that needs to follow the slope of the earth due to pile tolerances we utilize a few different methods for keeping the rows linear.
With the simple one motion mast raise I am able to get started working right away with out assembly of the mast like the majority of the competition.

I was doing a self installation. After a brief conversation with James, I knew this was the correct install. I made the adjustments and got the correct piles.
