Most of the newer vehicles are transponder keys and have a transponder (or computer chip) in the head of the key. This chip communicates with your vehicle which allows it to start. I had some deadbolts master-keyed for my house. Locks are working great, and the prices were unbeatable. I really appreciated that there is a storefront I can go to get the work done, instead of paying for someone to come out to my house. It is just one woman (I’m assuming Laurel) running the show, so things can get a bit busy sometimes, but she does a great job of managing her schedule and getting things done quickly.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I arrived at the shop at 5:40 PM on a Monday to have a key made for my Mazda CX-30. Upon arrival, I was told that I could not have my key made because the lady who works there was meeting with family soon and she wouldn't be able to stay and resolve my issues, despite having spoken with my wife about the fact that I was arriving when I did AND her hours posted said that she worked until 6 PM. She never mentioned to my wife that she had to leave early, and I was made even more frustrated when, after I was told that she would have to leave early

I was rekeying my home locks and accidentally sprung the last cylinder. No locksmith I tried calling was open. Finally, I called Laurel's to see if they could help repair it. I was told, of course! A quick drive over and the owner was super helpful in showing me where I screwed up. She reset the lock and finished the rekey in about five minutes, no charge. Super helpful and friendly and they will be on my recommendation list to anyone who asks.

One of the last real locksmiths still in business!! She is busy working on the road but I was able to visit her shop after 5pm and even though she didn’t have a direct match for my key she was able to carve another one close enough where she got it to work. She didn’t even charge me for it since she wasn’t very happy with this one and promised to look for a blank key that’s a closer match to my strange aftermarket Chinese motorcycle key. Anyway I’m happy I finally was able to duplicate my impossible to match motorcycle key!

My front door deadbolt got stuck in the locked position. I followed tips online and even called Kwikset directly with no luck. The bolt would not retract. I called Laurel’s Lock and made an appointment with Diana for later in the day. She arrived on time and tried for several minutes to get it to unjam. I thought she’d have to cut through the bolt, but her persistence paid off. She got it off and reinstalled a new latch.
I highly recommend Laurel’s Lock. Diana is a true professional, and the cost is very fair for the work she did. I would not hesitate calling her for any future locksmith

Got a key stuck in the lock. All the normal DIY techniques- pressing the cap, aligning the cylinder, presenting a sacred ianual to Janus God of Doorways- had failed to get it loose. Blindly yanking on it with pliers seemed like a great way to make things worse, so I took the knob off the door and went looking for a professional..

PHENOMENAL service. Diana was at my house almost immediately to help me get a key replaced for my car. Price was extremely fair, even paid her $40 extra for the amazing service. Excellent service. They even came to my residence more than once after I messed up on the date. I'd recommend this business. The ONLY thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the fact that the pricing fluctuated during installation without first giving me a breakdown of the charges.

If you've had the misfortune of a lock out, do not hesitate to use this company! I could not have asked for a better experience. I just have a key fob, that supposedly will not lock itself inside the car... however today, after never having an issue for 2 years, it decided to play games I guess... "I" locked my keys, wallet and phone in my running car this morning and Diana was here within 40 minutes to the rescue! She was beyond kind and extremely fast. Diane strikes again!!! I seriously cannot rave enough about this wonderful, hard working human being. I seriously, if it wasn't creepy, would give her a hug every time I utilize her services. She changed out my door lock to a regular knob. I'm moving in a crunch and waited very last minute to do last minute alterations to the house. You'll receive great service and the prices are low. They aren't sitting around in the office all day, so I suggest you call before you go. They make emergency visits & house calls. I know because someone once came to my house to make keys. Recently, I needed an expressive car key replaced, and it was done in minutes and at a cost far less than the dealership would charge. Customer service & accuracy are important. The keys are never cut wrong. They always work!

Now I have the spare I always wanted. Work was done faster than I've ever seen anyone make keys. I needed some other work done, and though busy with onsite jobs, made early evening times for me to stop in after work. You just can't beat that for service.

I locked myself out of my house in the middle of a rain storm, ugh! I called Laurel's Lock Shop and spoke to Diana. She gave me a 20 minute ETA time and arrived promptly within the time frame. Yeah the house smells like smoke, which isn't pleasant, but the cat is really friendly and will take your mind off that.
The only car she told me she can't replicate keys for is a Benz, but other than that if you need to make a spare key of your car, bring it here!
Her prices will surely beat your dealership or even Home Depot (who won't even do this right, I've heard horror stories of people trying to get this done at Home Depot)
