Today the choice of deck materials is almost limitless: there are the wood standards, including pressure treated pine, fir, white and red cedar, and redwood. There are imported hardwoods, such as, mahogany and Ipe, which are denser and more resistant to rot and insect infestation, and the man-made composite materials.
