Nelson Masonry did a fantastic job replacing the surface of three landings and steps leading to two of those landings. The materials we ended up selecting was a bit more on price than we originally intended, but the result is one that is spectacular and should never need to be redone no matter how long we own this house. Kim and Nick originally suggested a less expensive stone, but when we explained what we really wanted as the end result, had a few more options for us to consider. They were patient through it all, and then really performed above expectations. When we have another project to do

Kim Nelson of Nelson Masonry took on a difficult job that others were afraid to tackle and did an outstanding job.
My renovated front entry required that the tile be stained and sealed. Unfortunately, my builders finished the stone on the landing in one color, and the landscape architects finished the walkway in a lighter color. I went to several stone and masonry companies and no one wanted to deal with the problem of trying to redo the walkway. I am, like most people, emotionally and financially invested in my home, so after being told by several companies that they would not guarantee that

When a masonry master transformed our 40 year old brick walkways and patios to their original beauty I wondered why I hadn’t met Kim Nelson and his mason earlier. I found Nelson Masonry through Angies List and within minutes of submitting my lead Kim’s pleasant wife, Amy, responded and set up an appointment. When I met Kim I knew I connected with a person of integrity.
Our large brick patio, walkways and stairs had suffered wear for 40 years, 20 years before and after we bought our house, mortar showing gapping voids and splotches from prior poor patches.

Recently I hired Nelson Masonry to create an outdoor fireplace in my backyard. Not only was the response time quick, but the price was also very reasonable (much less than other companies I had received quotes from).
The professionalism and customer service I received was second to none through the entire process. Ultimately, the final outcome was better than I could have ever imagined.
