Vermont Construction did an amazing job building our custom home from start to finish. Dana was very involved in the process and worked with our architect and interior designers to execute some really complicated details. His crew was very knowledgable and friendly. Everyone that was involved with the company were mindful of our specific needs and very helpful throughout the entire project. We will be hiring Vermont Construction again to build our guest house next year.

I started looking for someone to replace my roof and the roof of a rental property late winter of 2021. It either took forever for someone take a look at the project and get an estimate or I never had a return call. In addition, the work could maybe be done in the fall.
VCC sent someone within days of my call, had an estimate before the next day and the work for both houses would be done by the next month.
It all happened as planned and the price was far better than anyone else I spoke to. There was an area that I had a concern about, called the company and someone came out to fix it the next

I had the roof replaced on my South Burlington investment property in early December of 2021 (luckily there was no snow!) and I must say I am all around 100% satisfied with my Vermont Construction Company experience. This is the first time I've ever had to hire a contractor so I have no basis for comparison but here are the facts: the roof looks fantastic, they left the landscape the way it was beforehand, and the final cost ($16,500 for 34 squares) wasn't much more than estimated and the extra charges (the necessary replacement of rotted plywood and bad chimney lead flashing that I confirmed with

Once contract signed & submitted replacement of roof shingles was performed within 2 weeks. Very short turnaround time these days. Inspected roof as layers removed and repaired necessities before new application rendered with spot on matching to existing colors. Workers well adept with agile structural constructional tradesman-ship. Very pleased with quality, workmanship and overall curb appeal. Will partake with future endeavors as needed and time permits.

They replaced my barrier free shower in my bathroom, the old one had cracked due to improper installation and lack of subfloor support. VT Construction did an excellent job of correcting the issue prior to installing a new shower. They installed a one-piece shower which was better than the original, and took some skill to put in. The finish work including paint and trim looks beautiful! Their team was courteous, professional on time and cleaned up during and after the job. My bathroom feels new again!

Clearly, Joe and his crew have done a lot of roofs. They act as cohesive team, working constantly from the moment they showed until the moment they left three days later. My greatest fear in contracting a crew to replace my roof was ending up with an ad hoc group of guys who would muck the job up. Vermont Construction’s management team, David, and Dana, bid the job with detailed commitments in writing. Joe, the site foreman, and his team moved kayaks, equipment stands, umbrellas and two sets of deck/patio furniture, along with other personal items before they started the tear down of the old
