Brandon grew up in Cedar Lake, Indiana, living on the water and loving boat life. During his High school years, Brandon worked for a landscaping company. Through this experience he gained knowledge of building retaining walls, driving bobcats and other large equipment, installing sod and brick pavers, and planting trees and other shrubbery for residential and commercial clients.
These experiences helped Brandon recognize his love of landscaping and working with clients to accomplish their perfect property. His work with large equipment, such as trucks and trailers, led Brandon to obtain his Class A Commercial Driver's License. Meredith grew up in Illinois with a family who also enjoyed lake life.

After spending some time working as a teacher's aide, Meredith landed her first teaching job in 2011 working in a Lutheran School. There she realized her love of working with children. In 2011, Brandon and Meredith moved back to Illinois and Brandon continued his trucking career.

I hired this company because the price was good and because the owner happens to be my neighbor and I wanted to support a small family owned business.
They were to cut my grass weekly and do all edging and pull the weeds that had grown out.
On the first cut they were a few hours late but that didn't bother me as long as the work got done no big deal.
They did not do the edging and told me it would be done the next service date. I was also told someone will be sent to pull the weeds. It didn't get done that day either and 3 weeks later when I called to discuss it I was ignored and only got a

On our 2nd year with Rovak Maintenance Service and rating them tops for results, value, and service. Normally, I only give face to face compliments or critiques because it works so much better for me than social media. (I have asked repeatedly to join the Neighbors of Windett Ridge FB group but haven't gotten a reply for weeks!) But I think every small business deserves a little extra from customers to be successful in this economy. Support local business!!

Brandon and Meredith are the best! They do a stellar job on lawn care, snow removal, mulch application, spring and fall cleanup, gutter cleaning, and anything else I ask of them. They are always quick to reply, have great pricing, and go above and beyond what I ask of them. They are always here when they say they will. I've had so many positive comments on our lawn and landscaping since I've started using them! Overall excellent service and experience.
