Can't say enough about Canty Brothers construction. We noticed a significant dip in our 10 X 16 deck, and were concerned about it being safe to walk on. Canty Brothers came out within a few days, checked out the deck and confirmed that it was unsafe. THE NEXT DAY they sent two guys out who took the stairs off, repaired the rotted wood, and put it all back together again. The decking was 11 year old Trex-like material, and they were able to save it all, and put it back together. Brian and Joe were out there all day in the 90 degree, humidity, and just kept working. We supplied cold water, and offered

John Canty and his team guided us in making our dream home a reality. Canty Brothers care about the quality of their work and it shows. Communication was clear and that's not an easy thing to achieve doing an addition during a global pandemic! There was always help if and when the supply chain of goods wasn't available and the design team adapted and adjusted in any way that they could. We didn't take this effort lightly and recognized how committed to our project the whole team was. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Mr. Canty is upset because after a year of being abused by Canty Construction, I have chosen to hire a lawyer and seek legal retribution.
My husband and I made the mistake of not holding money back from Canty Construction. It was the height of the pandemic and companies were panicking. I mistakenly felt that if we showed good faith in this company, they would reciprocate. I was wrong. They took our money, and failed to complete the work.
I have maintained the documentation showing how they ignored our requests, locked us out of our project as punishment when we asked questions, and failed to complete

To Jared from Canty Bros.: In reference to your comment on my review--Your multiple uses of the word pandemic in quotes suggests you think that the Coronavirus is a figment of my imagination- that I am unreasonably fearful and you are reasonable. The quotes clearly betray your true feelings.

Although we currently have our Kitchen Remodel project on hold until next year, the team at Canty Brothers has earned our business! From the initial phone call to the several emails of helpful information, the staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and made my husband and I excited for our renovation next year. Canty Brothers was in charge of the construction of my dance school. They worked very efficiently, meeting all deadlines, and I could not have asked for a better end product. They converted the Watertown Registry of Motor Vehicles into a dance school of four large dance rooms, a large waiting and retail area, four bathrooms, a staff break room, an office, and two large storage closets. I highly recommend them for their impeccable work, strong work ethic, and professionalism.

The Canty team was great from initial discovery, design and scoping, to sale/close, the actual work, and post project. The process was transparent and without surprises. Curveballs thrown by our old house or suppliers were dealt with responsively and cost consciously. The project ended up beautifully and beyond our expectations. We have worked with Canty Brothers on several projects and it has been a pleasure each time.

Checked out about 15 contractors, whittled it down to meet with 3, and chose CANTY BROS for our complete design to build kitchen project. They had fantastic communication, were professional with expertise, and worked hard with us to keep within our budget while giving us many options during the process.

We couldn’t be happier with our Canty Brothers home! We knew immediately when we saw the house that it was the perfect home for us. It’s a 5 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom colonial built on approximately one-third of an acre lot and everyone who sees it remarks that it is absolutely beautiful!

We hired Canty Brothers to build an addition to our home and renovate our kitchen. Canty was one of four contractors we interviewed and bid the project out with; while their cost estimate was somewhere in the middle of those that we received, we found their estimate to be the most comprehensive and inclusive, making us more confident in their real cost. While cost was important, we ultimately selected John and Canty Brothers Construction because we felt most comfortable with his communication style - something which you cannot underestimate the value of when undertaking a project such as ours

They were very prompt with the initial meeting when we were looking at possible contractors; and their suggestions for what work needed to be done based on our criteria were the best of all of the vendors we talked to.
They were very busy so the work could not start for nearly 6 weeks; however, once the date of the work approached they were in frequent contact with us letting us know when deliveries would be made, when work would begin and coordinating the efforts of several teams (roofers, their own construction crew and painters). Could not have gone better. All workers were prompt, tidy, professional and personable. The work was completed on schedule (never had this happen before) and was beautifully executed. The creative input of John Canty and his team was exceptional and beyond my expectations! The crowning glory on my property is a clover lawn (John's suggestion) - no maintenance, beautiful, and attractive to bunnies.
