What a crazy time the past few months have been! We are excited to see normalcy returning to our community, and we are making every effort to make your visit to Master Tile Kitchen and Bath Design a safe one! We have had extensive work done by Master Tile and have loved everything they did. The office staff is great as are all the workers. A great deal of attention is paid to detail, and if there is any problem… it is very easy to speak to the owner (Jhinson) as he is very responsive and will work with you in correcting it. For example, we had a little issue with our grout with the work that was completed this past Spring, I called the office, and THAT day Jhinson showed up and it was repaired. I HIGHLY recommend Master Tile and will definitely use them again in the future. Thanks Master Tile

We had a great experience with Master Tile for our master bath remodel and our laundry, second bath, and half bath upgrade. The entire team was great. Monica in the showroom was very helpful- she was able to quickly understand the style we had envisioned and greatly assisted us in piecing together the choices that we now love. When it came time for the demolition and installation phase, Jhinson was great. He was accurate in his timing, true to his word, coordinated all the various aspects of the projects efficiently, and was responsive and a pleasure to work with. We are extremely happy with the

Nearly a year ago now, I paid $8,000 for a custom indoor tile/glass pet enclosure with running water. To this very day, I am fighting to get the job done right, and I do mean "fighting." Problems include: not being able to deliver/perform on-time/when promised, a non-functioning swinging door from the get-go, that is still problematic to this day, poor attitude, poor response--and even NO response without showing up in person--arrogance, and shifting the blame and responsibility to the customer. We were having a difficult time deciding on the tile to use for our kitchen backsplash. The staff, including the owner, were incredibly helpful with making suggestions. They were knowledgeable and very patient, allowing us to take home samples several different times.
The product we chose came in ahead of time, and the prices were very competitive. We could not be happier with the choice of tile, and our backsplash looks amazing!!
We would highly recommend using Master Tile in Old Saybrook!

The owner was prompt when I requested an apt. His appraisal of the work, that we needed to be done was fair. The selection at the store for tiles wasn’t too overwhelming and the staff helped me to put my design concept together. When the guys started the work, they were prompt and worked hard all day 5 days a week. They had good plumbers, electricians, and carpenters. They are very thorough and honest. Of course, we had some hiccups along the way, but it was nothing they couldn’t make right or work threw, always keeping me in the loop. I really can’t be happier with the 3 bathrooms they have

Excellent experience at Master Tile Old Saybrook. The communication among the team is extraordinary. From calling the showroom to ask questions of designers Amy, Emily or Holly to speaking with the on site project manager and planning with the owner. This team was consistently aware of every aspect my entire project as it progressed. This made for a seamless, stress free renovation. Installers led by the owner, who arrived on site each day to confirm the day’s schedule, were very adaptable and creative In solving the quirks of an older home. Always on time and on schedule leaving the space spotless

I worked for this company before I moved out of state. I cannot recommend Master Tile highly enough! I have worked for several remodelers but never one with as pleasant, supportive, and professional an atmosphere. Their work in tile is stunning and they will bend over backwards to help their customers. If you're reading these reviews to learn about the company, I highly, highly recommend stopping by in person or giving them a call. I guarantee that you will get a friendly, informed person to help you with all you Kitchen, Bathroom, and Tile projects.

If I could have left 0 stars I would have. The owner assured us he could start the job at a certain date and then tried to move us out over a month. Keep in mind this was for 4 total bathrooms and a laundry room not a small job. The "designer" was extremely difficult to work as well. One of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. Do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere.

Amy, Emily, and I'm sorry I missed the gentlemans name that helped us cut tile, were AMAZING and so helpful with advice and keeping us calm after we came in so aggravated about tile we were trying to cut ourselves. They helped us to come up with a great solution and we will definitely be back. While we were waiting for tile to be cut, we watched how awesome they were with other customers as well and the showroom is dynamite. Thank you again sooo much!
