Put on a new roof on my house. A large and complex residential job.
Work was done on time and very well. They went out of the their way to do a top quality job. They bought paint that matched the trim and used it to paint the drip edge before installation. They repaired wood rot that wasn't visible behind gutters and wasn't part of the roof job as bid as they went along. They adapted their plans to fit the requirements of fixing the roof of a balcony area as they proceeded on the job and the requirements changed.
In many jobs there are unexpected things that a contractor will find as they go
