In 1974, Sandy Deichman and Bob Brandstatter purchased Hedde Ready Mix, Inc. and renamed the company D & B Ready Mix, Inc. In 1976, Sandy made the decision to see half of the shares of Deichman Excavating to Bob Brandstatter. In 1988, the Logansport and Peru Ready Mix plants were sold to IMI, Inc. D & B Ready Mix and Supply, Inc. was renamed D & B Trucking, Inc.
Deichman Excavating crew installing new 36 concrete pipe to provide positive drainage for the new runway extension project at the Logansport Airport. The runway is being extended approximately 900. The River Bluff trail was completed in 2004. The trail is 1.3 miles long with a trailhead at Davis Road on the east end and one at Michigan Avenue on the west end.
