Selecting colors for a house painting project can be a daunting and stressful task.
Your old stained/varnished wood gets to look like new again, without stripping your woodwork. Add stain toner coat to hide nicks, scuffs and worn-out areas to make your woodwork to have a fresh look again. Pine is a wood commonly used for baseboards, casings, window sashes and doors. Because of its soft nature, pine absorbs stain in an uneven way, when applied directly over the wood, thereby making the stained wood look blotchy.

This is the 2nd time we have used Painting in Partnership, Inc. I happened to be at home on a short vacation during the work. I was amazed at how much effort goes into a quality paint job—prepping, sanding, filling in nail holes, primer painting, etc. Each one of these steps was carefully and professionally undertaken. January 2016:
We had Painting in Partnership come back and paint another room for us (walls, trim, and ceiling): a dining room. Again, the room looks amazing. The painter was professional: arriving on time each day and maintaining extremely neat work areas.
The room was painted in two colors, purple and white, with an accent line on the trim. It looks perfect!

We hired Mario Guertin's company to paint the exterior of our 110 year old house. He provided a 2 hour color consultation at the outset, which was very helpful. We picked our colors and talked about all the details several times before the work began. The painters, Walter and Jeff, were excellent. They were here every non-rainy day for about three weeks working on our house. They were incredibly skilled and did a great job. Mario kept in close communication throughout the project. We added several things that were beyond the scope of the original contract and everything was done exactly as we requested

Painting in Partnership did an excellent job of bringing back a door that had been exposed to excessive sun damage. I also respected that they told me what was realistic in relation to the restoration of the door. I felt they had more expertise than other companies that bid on the job. They did a nice job of taking care to protecting the work area and cleaning up at the end of each day. I would recommend with great confidence.

Our experience with Mario and Painting in Partnership was excellent. Mario was professional and clear in our initial consultation about our options in touching up our banged up glazed kitchen cabinetry, including suggesting where we might hold back and spend less money. The painter, Steve, was on time & meticulous towards his craft; also professional, pleasant and respectful of our household (also tolerant of our obnoxious dog).
