Because it is an extension of your home, your landscape design makes a statement about who you are and what you value. It is where you will be found on lazy summer afternoons, swinging on the porch, and drinking sweet tea. It is where you will play ball with your kids after school, entertain close friends during a cocktail party, or have a romantic dinner date with your partner.
Water traveling down slopes, from either rain or irrigation systems, wears away the soil and makes a mess of our land. Damage from erosion is caused when silt builds up and interferes with drainage structures, crops, and road stability. Because we live in the middle of the Smoky Mountains, soil erosion is a predictable occurrence in Western North Carolina.

We needed a retaining wall built and weren’t sure what we needed or wanted. Thanks to Laurel Crest we ended up with a beautiful functional stone block wall that is perfect and lasting. They were not the least expensive option, but well worth the slight premium. They were courteous on time and did expert work.

We have absolutely no regrets in our choice of Laurel Crest for two large projects -- a new concrete driveway and a new concrete front patio/walkway. From sales to design to doing the work, they were total pros who helped us maximize our budget with great results. They communicated well with us throughout the project and did their best to minimize the impact on us despite some pretty invasive changes to the outside of our home. Jaime Melton put together a great vision/design for our overall landscaping, and we look forward to working with Laurel Crest on the rest of it in the future.

Laurel Crest - A great company to work with from start to finish! This was a big project for us and we wanted to feel comfortable we could trust who we were hiring. Bottom line - they totally got the concept we wanted for our property. Jamie, the owner, presented an elegant, tasteful design that included critical features we required; a natural look using local plants, low maintenance, outdoor lighting and erosion control. The team that installed the project was hard-working, professional, and cleaned up the work site every single day prior to leaving. Good people and a great product!

Laurel Crest has made a big difference in our small neighborhood. My front lawn went from dirt and weeds to lush green grass all in a year. Their crew shows up faithfully as scheduled; always on time. Crew members are helpful friendly and address extra needs/requests whenever asked. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
