My in laws travelled to MA to stay with us for a while. Needless to say, they forgot to hand over the house key to the caretaker who now could not get in. So, here they are fretting about the issue, Dad's in the doghouse for the crime of omission, Mom's alternating between fretting and casting doghousy looks @ Dad. And of course, we couldn't make a dupe of the key we had @ Home Depot (that's another story how the HD person almost took the key and vanished).

I recently purchased a pick-up and the previous owner didn't have any keys to the cap on the back. I contacted Action Lock & Key to see if a key would be made. I spoke to Donna on the phone, who was both extremely friendly and helpful. Though she said they couldn't guarantee the key would work, she would make it ahead of my arrival so I wouldn't have to wait when I arrived!
The best part, it was only going to be $10!
When I did arrive about two days later, the key was waiting for me, and it worked perfectly! Though Donna had left for the day, the staff I did interact with

My company, NENS - [New England Network Solutions] has known the folks at Action Lock and Key for over three years. We recently had a need to resolve a few issues with our exterior and interior doors. We called ALK and Michael came to review our needs. Once he saw the issues he made several cost saving recommendations and suggested that we replace our door handles with better ADA complaint handles. The work was done correctly and professionally. Our keys are all the same now, our door closes better and we are very happy that we called ALK!

Had a very old lock on my front door that I didn't even have a key for and they were able to suggest a cylinder that would replace it and rekeyed it to match my other doors too. Best of all, as I'm no locksmith, they were able to give me enough direction of how to install it properly without even seeing the entire lock/door. Thanks for the help!

I have used Action Lock & Key several times for various commercial projects. Each time, the guys and girls over there have been out-of-their-way friendly, helpful, and responsive in a way that really puts them head and shoulders above any other locksmithing company I have used (and there have been several of those).
Twice now I have called Action Lock and Key to "fix" other locksmiths' work, and now I go direct to AL&K every time. Spending time on the phone, exchanging emails, meeting at a time and location that is convenient for me... all of these things are standard

I've used Action Lock three times at work and once at home for different locksmithing services. Have each time had prompt service that got it right the first time. It's a professional locksmithing shop and can be just a bit overwhelming for the first time patron. However, the service personnel know their stuff and are good at explaining what they can or can't do. Best to have a good idea of your needs befor stepping through their doors...it'll help them as much as they'll help you. Overall, a pretty good experience.
