Studio Marchand Inc was founded in 1989 in White Plains, New York. We began as a small cabinetry shop but soon drew the attention of local architects, designers and custom contractors. As our reputation grew, we moved our operations to a 4500 square foot facility located in Yonkers, New York. Owner and founder Marcel Marchand learned his craft in France at art school and from his father, who worked on wooden sailboats and yachts.
Marcel moved to America in 1986 to pursue his dream of building custom furniture pieces and fine cabinetry. Marcel's philosophy and respect for the precious supplies used in his creations is reflected in all the individual pieces he has crafted over the years.

Studio Marchand has always been environmentally conscious. For example, we were amongst the first woodworking shops in the tri-state area to use water-based lacquer. Studio Marchand has continually invested in efficient, state-of-the-art machinery for over 16 years. We've directed our wood and veneer purchasing towards sustainable and renewable sources from the start, cultivating relationships with suppliers worldwide.

Marcel puts out a fine product. His state of the art workshop and vast experience means he can make everything. He’s a good listener and will hear you if you have specific ideas about what you want. If you don’t know exactly what you want he will come up with elegant, clean solution for all your fine cabinet/woodworking needs. Modern or traditional. Solid wood or veneer. This is your guy. I’ve seen his kitchens and built into bookshelf Murphy bed. For me he built the most elegant, modern, exotic wood veneer built-in entertainment cabinet/wet bar with clever drawers & storage solutions. He
